70- Change is inevitable. Except from a vending machine

Hayes's POV:

I was sat on the chair in the hall when I realised something.

"Oh god" I said causing confused looked to shoot my way.

I got up and ran after the doctor around the corner. I spotted him talking to someone but I didn't care.

I ran up to him and put a hand on his shoulder as he spun around.

"We'll talk later" he said to the nurse as he looked at me with confusion.

"What is it Hayes?" He asked worriedly.

"It's Hannah. She's pregnant. Can you check to see if the baby's still alive please" I said as his eyes widened in shock.

We walked back to the room as he went inside. I waited with everyone as I reminded them that hannah was pregnant.

It was about 10 minutes later until he came back out with a smile on his face.

"Good news. The baby isn't in the major stages so the impact didn't affect the baby at all" he said as sighs of relief filled the room.

"Thank you doctor" I said nodding at him. To be honest, he looks quite young to be a doctor. More like a trainee because he looked about 19.

"Call me Jed" he said as he walked away with a smile.

Norayma's POV:

Cam got up from his seat and walked down the hall to the vending machine. I looked back to see Hayes looking at me. He nodded in Cams direction but kept his eyes on me.

'Go' he mouthed as I nodded and walked up to Cameron who was getting a chocolate bar out from the bottom of the vending machine. He then started to press one of the buttons repeatedly.

"Come on I put 5 dollars in there" he said hitting the button that sometimes gives your money back if the machine doesn't work.

I walked next to him as he kicked it then stopped, resting his head on the glass.

"Cam. I'm sorry about earlier. I was just trying to help" I said as he let out a sigh and looked at me.

"I know you were and I'm sorry for loosing it. I seriously need to change the way I deal with my anger" he said smiling apologetically. I stood up on my tip toes and kissed his lips passionately then pulled away.

"Change is inevitable" I said.

"Except from a vending machine" I added as I turned around and walked back over to the guys and girls. I could hear him chuckling as he followed.

"I'm going to go back home to get a good night sleep. Who's coming?" Cam said as he looked at me and smiled which I returned.

Jordan, Harley, Taylor, Shawn, Jack, Aaron, and Carter all got up and walked over to Cam.

"I'm staying. I'll call you if anything happens. We can switch tomorrow so you can sleep here and we'll go home" I said as they nodded and walked down the hall then out of the hospital.

It was just me, Sam, Nash and Hayes now as we made our selfs comfortable. I closed my eyes and let out a long breath before falling peacefully asleep.

-4 hours later-

Hayes's POV:

I can't sleep at all. No matter how hard I try I just can't get to sleep. I got up and walked into Hannah's hospital room trying not to wake up Nash and Norayma.

I walked in and closed the door as I sat in the chair next to her bed. I looked at all of the wires that were coming out of her arms and her nose.

It was horrible to see her like this. So pale and unhealthy looking. I pulled the chair right next to her bed as I placed my hand on hers.

I rested my head on the bed as I stroked small circles on her hand with my thumb.

"I love you so much Hannah Marie. You can pull through this. I know you can" I said before kissing her forehead and closing my eyes. I then managed to fall asleep knowing that she was right by my side.
