A/NThis book is starting to get a lot like 'pretty little liars' but I think it's quite a good story line so I'm going to start adding more things that are in 'pretty little liars'.
Enjoy-
Hayes' POV:
I don't think I can go back to Radley to see Hannah. It breaks my heart every time that she's locked up in a room with nowhere to go.
"Come on, we're going to visit Hannah" Nash said coming into my room.
"I'm just going to stay here" I said going back to watch the tv. I was looking at the screen when it suddenly went black.
I turned to see Nash pointing the remote to the tv.
"Let's go Hayes" he said practically dragging me out of my room and down the stairs, grabbing my shoes on the way.
We got in his car as Sam Matt and Cam were ready in there. Sofia is with her childminder so we all came this time. I waited for the boys to sign in so that I could. Matt gave me the pen as I wrote down my name. I put the pen down and was about to walk away when something in the book caught my eye. I looked closer as I started to panic.
"Guys" I said as they all came over to me confused.
"Look. Someone signed in yesterday as X" I said pointing to the X. I looked through the book to see when they signed out but I couldn't find anything.
"They never signed out" Sam said clearly catching on as to what I was thinking about. We all just shared the same confused look.
"Is everything okay?" The nurse asked.
"Do you remember this person" I said pointing to the X.
"Yeah. They were wearing a black hoodie with the hood up though so I couldn't really see their face. X is a strange name. Its probably their gang name or something" she said as she lead us to Hannah's room.
I brushed it off for now and just focused on Hannah. We walked in her room to see her sat on the same chair staring at what looked like a playing card.
I walked closer to see it was the 5 of hearts. I wonder what it is about that card.
"Hey Hannah" Sam said as he sat on the chair next to her.
"Whatcha got there?" He questioned. She opened her mouth about to say something. Is she actually going to talk.
"Come on skinny love just last the year
Pour a little salt we were never here,
My my my, my my my, my-my my-my
Staring at the sink of blood and crushed veneer"
She sang. Her voice was weak but beautiful. She was singing that song that her mom always used to listen to.
She must miss her mom like crazy. I can't even imagine what she must be going though right now.
She carried on singing as Sam gave us a confused look.
She finished the song and just sat there staring at the card not even blinking.
We were there for ages trying to get her to talk but she never said a word. Just stared at the card.
"Visiting hours are over" the nurse said holding the door open for us.
"What is so important about the five of hearts" Sam questioned but before I could answer his question, someone else spoke.
"You only focus on what your told. Not what you see"
I couldn't believe it
Hannah actually spoke
But what was she talking about
"What does that mean" I asked but she didn't reply.
"Hannah" I said louder trying to get her attention but it didn't work.
"Visiting hours are over" the nurse repeated so we had to leave.
We walked to the reception and signed out and gave back our visitors passes. We walked out of the doors and out the gate to Nash's car as we got inside.
"What did she mean by 'You only focus on what your told. Not what you see'?" Matts questioned.
"I have no idea" I said letting out a long sigh.
Nash started the engine and drove us home which felt like forever.
We finally arrived and went inside, not long after Sofia was dropped back so we all went into the living room and watched tv.
I looked over at Cam to see him rummaging through a draw in a cabinet.
"Cam. What are you looking for" i questioned but he didn't reply.
He soon took something from the draw and sat at the table. It looked like he was opening something so I decided to have a look.
I walked over and sat down on the chair next to him watching what he was doing. He had a pack of cards in his hand.
He looked through them and picked up the five of hearts. He just sat there staring at it just like Hannah.
"what are you doing?" I questioned.
"You only focus on what your told. Not what you see. She was trying to tell us something" He said still examining the card.
I just left him and walked over to the couch and cuddled with Sofia.
---------------------------------
~3 days later~
Matts POV:
Cams been sat at that table for the past three days examining that card. He's starting to look a lot like Hannah.
It was just me, Nash and Hayes sat on the couch and Cam was sat on the table staring at the card again and Sam and Sofia went to the park.
"Wait" I heard Cam say.
"What is it" I questioned but instead of replying, he got up getting his keys and shoes and ran out of the door.
"Cam wait" I shouted as me, Hayes and Nash ran after him.
"Get in" Cam shouted as we obeyed. We got inside his car as he immediately sped off.
We quickly arrived at Radley but we had no idea why because Cam ignored all of our questions along the way.
He ran inside and quickly signed in as we done the same. We followed him to Hannah's room as the nurse was shocked at our sudden burst in.
"Why didn't you tell us?" Cam said loudly as Hannah was sat at the chair again looking at the five of hearts card.
"Tell you what" she said slowly and quietly which we were all surprised that she actually spoke.
"That X was back"...
