Just as I finished my breakfast, one of the guards for the council came to call me and the Eraliths saying it was urgent. Gramps and I shared a knowing look and calmly made our way to the council chambers. Alduin and Merial walked in front of us with a bit more urgency in their step as they thought something important happened. While they were technically right, any Asura showing up would be considered important, Virion and I felt no need to cater to their whims more than necessary.

Once we entered the meeting room, Windsom was the first to speak. "It is good to see you again, Lord Arthur. Your display during the attack was quite satisfying to watch."

Everyone in the room, with the exception of Aldir, Virion and myself, acted surprised at the treatment I was given by a supposed deity. Internally I was debating whether Windsom doesn't see me as a lesser or if he was just instructed to act this way. It may be a mixture of both considering Kezess didn't reject the idea of recognizing me as a member of the Indrath clan, but these are thoughts and problems for future me to deal with.

"Thanks, it's nice to see you again as well Windsom. I presume you're here to take me to Epheotus like we discussed before?" I returned his greeting and went straight to the point.

"Yes, that is correct. I would also like to introduce you to Aldir, an old friend of mine who will be assisting the council during the war." Windsom said and Aldir took a step forward.

"A pleasure to meet you, young Arthur. I heard many good things about you and hope to be able to see them for myself once you're back from our homeland." He introduced himself, his third eye focused on me.

"Likewise. I'll make sure not to disappoint when the time comes." I replied and the Pantheon nodded.

"Now then, I have already informed the council of what you'll be doing for the foreseeable future, so I suggest tying whatever loose ends and preparing what you'll need as we will be leaving as soon as Seele finishes her task. I will come to you when it's time to leave." Windsom explained.

"Heard all that Sylv?"

"Yes, I am at your parents room and telling them about it as we speak. Tess and Ellie are also here by the way."

"Good. Time to repeat the past I guess."

That went better than I thought it was going to be. Still soul crushing, but dad was a little calmer and we were able to have a proper conversation about my reincarnation. I suppose knowing Agrona was behind it made it so Reynolds diverted some of his anger away from me. Now it's up to mom to help him process everything.

Closing the door behind me after leaving my parents bedroom, I see Tess who had left earlier to give us some privacy. She looked worried but I reassured her I would be fine after a while. We walked back to our room in silence to wait there for Windsom to come pick me up.

Tess and I just laid in bed cuddling until night fell. Sylvie had entered the room at some point to wait with us and told me Ellie had overheard some of our talk. It seems my little sister still developed the habit of eavesdropping, but it's hard to blame her considering she was usually the last in the family to be told of what was happening and all.

It was getting pretty late and there was still no sign of Windsom showing up so we had dinner delivered as no one was in the mood for eating with other people in the cafeteria.

It was only after Tess fell asleep around midnight that the Asura finally knocked on my door accompanied by Seele.

"My apologies for the delay Lady Sylvie, Lord Arthur. There were some complications we had to take care of." Windsom explained to us.

"It's fine, it gave us the time to mentally prepare ourselves before leaving." Sylvie said.

"I take it you two are ready then?" He asked.

"Yes, we are." I answered as I got out of the bed.

"Then follow us. Time to see your new home for at least the next year." Seele said with enthusiasm.

I followed after the Asuras but not before placing a kiss on my fiance's forehead and leaving a note on the nightstand next to her.

"Regis, you know what to do."

"Yes sir!" He replied and left my core before hiding in Tess's shadow. Seele looked curiously at me but said nothing and just turned around to guide Sylvie and me towards the portal that would take us to Epheotus.

"So Seele, what were you doing that made you late to pick us up?" I asked, genuinely curious.

"Technically I'm not late considering your training only starts tomorrow. As for what I was doing, well, it was mostly rooting out some spies. But I did make a quick detour to put the fear of god on some nobody who tried to blackmail dear little Sylvie." She answered with a grin.

"You didn't hurt him, did you? Bairon being pissed at us could lead to problems down the line." I pointed out.

"Oh, you don't have to worry about that. I showed sparky a mountain of evidence of all the things his father and brother have done wrong, so by the time you come back he won't have any issues."

I didn't really know how to feel about what Seele just said, as the issues I had with Bairon were part of what led him to change. But I guess knowing how rotten his family is early on might result in Bairon 2.0 arriving early. Yet another thing for future me to deal with.

"Let's hope you're right. Also, how did you know about Lucas and Otis trying to blackmail Sylvie?" I asked, just realizing Seele knew about something we never told her.

"Don't worry about it." Was all I got and I let out a sigh knowing pushing for an answer wouldn't get me anywhere.

After a few more minutes of walking our group arrived at one of the gardens of the floating castle where Windsom setup the Tempus Warp that would take us to what I assumed would be the Indrath Castle.

Windsom and Seele crossed first while Sylvie and I looked at each other. We both knew what we had to do while in the land of Asuras and with a nod we crossed the portal.

A/N: Shorter chapter this week for two reasons. First, this weekend the extras I promised back on chapter 25 will be posted so I need time to finish them. It won't be much in terms of quality and quantity, it is just a collection of ideas that didn't make it or that I didn't feel like writing and a little something on the Archivist. Second reason, I'm going travelling next week so I had to prepare a few things that took away some of my writing time.

If you have any feedback, don't be afraid to leave it in the comments. Also, if you have any questions feel free to ask.

Anyways, that's about it.

Peace
