Mbali couldn't believe that Deli would do this to her in front of Mabutho and Busani. Maya knew about what happened to her because she opened up to her and told her about her former life. She told Kuhle because she trusted her the same way she thought she could trust her sister Deli but she has just betrayed her in the worst possible way. How the hell is she going to look at Mabutho after this?

She took her hands into hers then wiped her tears. “You don't have to be ashamed of what happened to you because you did nothing wrong. That man is the one who did this to you, not the other way around. I hate what Deli did and I will never forgive her for trying to ruin your happiness. She wants you to be miserable just like she is. She can see that you have someone who genuinely cares for you and she can't stand it. Don't let her win, friend. Talk to Mabutho and explain to him. He's right there waiting for you. He didn't run away the way Deli thought he would. Whatever her plan was, it failed.”

“I can't, I don't know how I'm going to look at him. What if he doesn't want me after this?”
“Then it's his loss, he can't judge you because of your past. I'm sure he also has some things he never wants to talk about or be reminded of. If he's man enough and your man as he claims to be then he will listen to you and not just take Deli's side. He won't judge you, friend. You don't have to talk to him now if you don't want to. I'll stay here with you until you feel better.”

“No, Kuhle, I don't want to ruin your day…”
“Mbali, you're my sister and you need me now. I won't leave you alone. I had a wonderful day but I won't be able to sleep knowing how much you are in pain. You've been there for me since I came to live with you and now, it's my time to be there for you. I wasn't here when Spha broke up with you but I'm here now. You don't get to choose when I get to be there for you.”

“I don't think I can face him now, please tell him that I'll see him tomorrow. I just need to get myself together.”
“OK. I'll tell him.” Kuhle hugged Mbali then walked out.
Mabutho was pacing up and down the living room running out of his mind. He just wanted to know if Mbali was okay. He looked up expecting to see Kuhle with Mbali but she was alone.

“How is she?”
“Not okay. What Deli did was pure evil. It wasn't her place to say anything about her business and now my best friend is not okay.”
“Can I see her?”
“She's too embarrassed to see you. She said she'll see you tomorrow. She just needs to deal with her sister's betrayal.”
“I don't care about what that damn girl said. I just want to make sure that she's okay”
“She's not and she's not going to see you. Just give her this night to process this then tomorrow she will contact you. Please do what she asked”

“Okay, I'm sorry. I'm getting frustrated. I hate when things aren't in my control”
“I understand, Mabutho. I'll make sure she's taken care of until she sees you”
“You're not staying here, love. This place is a mess”
“I'll book her into a hotel. That's where we were heading to after she packed her bag.”
“She can't be alone right right now.  She's coming with us to our home where she'll feel safe and comfortable.” Kuhle said.
“That means I'll have to sleep at a hotel tonight bro”

“You don't have to do that, you can sleep in the other guest bedroom. You didn't do anything wrong Mabutho.”
“I don’t want to make her feel uncomfortable” 
“You wouldn't, as long as you give her the space. Our home is your home and we'll never chase you out for whatever reason.”
“Thank you Kuhle. Does she know that I'll be at your house?”
“I'll tell her, I don't think she'd have a problem with that”
