Aiden groaned again.

His father had summoned him to the throne room not long after, only to be humiliated by Aiden and his two brothers.

And now he summoned him to there.

Again.

Aiden rubbed circles around his forehead.It had been a terrible day for his other than that satisfying moment when the king and his example of a "mother" got humiliated.Quite the amusing sight to Aiden.

There at the front of the heavy-looking doors of the throne room stood his brother Noah.

And a few someone elses too.

Aiden's eyes widened,"What the hell are you guys doing here!?"

"Three patients! THREE! And after I closed the clinic, Can you believe that?And all of them were soldiers."

Even before she entered the threshold, Aru knew who it was.

Yup. Her twin/older sister Mini.She can always hear Mini's bickering before even seeing her.

(She's older bc she was born first before Aru and they're twins)

Again, they were 'self-proclaimed sisters by soul if not by blood'.

Aru entered the threshold to see Mini leaning back on a rickety wooden chair, her eyes closed and a glass of water in her hand.

"Hello Mini. I believe you have had a tough day?"asked Aru casually, putting her hands in her pockets.

Mini sighed and sat up in her chair. She opened her eyes and drank deeply,"Yes, Aru. And right now if I go and talk about it to my other siblings, I don't think they would care. They're busy readying themselves to go to the Opening Ceremony."

Aru looked around. Nikita and Sheela were missing. "And let me give a guess : that's what Nikita, Kara and Sheela are doing?"

Mini shook her head. "Those three had already left before you came back.Bhai had stayed back at the Vida En Mal because he could go to the ceremony directly from there, and all of them asked me to bring you with me."

Aru nodded and pulled out another chair,"Ooohh okay. But since you are in a bad mood now, do enlighten me about this...supremely horrible day of yours."

Mini looked grateful.

Well, to say that she's grateful would be an understatement.

"I mean, all of the patients today were still fine, you know, like any other day. But those three soldiers just destroyed my day. First, they gave me half the payment I asked!But they're the soldiers of the Royal Palace so I couldn't order them to do anything, and second? One of them had a concussion. A CONCUSSION!And he was bleeding badly.Poor dear, actually. According to the other two soldiers' reports, someone had apparently hit him in the head with a very sharp rock. I wonder who would do that to a Royal soldier..."

Mini suddenly jolted, as if she was hit with a realization.She slowly turned her head towards Aru's direction and lifted an eyebrow suspiciously at her.

Aru remembered what she did earlier that day to escape from the three soldiers she had encountered earlier that day : hit one of them with a super sharp rock.

"Ha ha..." she said, a touch too loudly,"Let's...not give ourselves too much thought aboutthat."

Mini signed and pinched the bridge of her nose.
