Hi guyssssss
So I'm back at it again,
But this time I bamboozled you
This isn't chapter 9
It's another sneak peak
Yveah I hear the annoyed groans and eye rolls
But the story got a little inconvenient part that I frustratingly had to work on
So I thought of giving you a sneak peak of a little part so you guys could (maybe) be entertained
(Albert has scolded me already for my laziness 🥲)

Let's just start chapter 9

Aru raised her eyebrows.

Well this just got interesting, didn't it?

Then she refocused her attention at the current situation.

There's no time to think about how on earth did this boy found her (and no time to think about how beautiful he looks😈)

She quickly tugged her sword out of its guard and prepared herself for the attack.

The boy was clearly startled at the sight of her drawing out her sword, but then he narrowed his eyes, and regained consciousness.

They circled each other, like wolves hunting its prey.Both lock eyes on each other, as if daring the other one to make the first move.

This went on...for ten whole minutes.

Aiden was still considering whether to attack them.

Like, if he takes them (he still doesn't know the gender of the masked thief but he was pretty sure that they're a male) back wounded, would his father come up with something crafty and said ,"Oh, tHeY'rE woUNdeD!I tOLd yOu tO tAKe tHe tHIeF BAcK wITh nO iNJuRiEs on TheM!No mORe BeiNG KiNg For YoU THeN!!!"

What if that or something similar happens?

"But he didn't say that you cannot kill or injury them, didn't he?" Said a voice in his head, menacing and cold.

"Yeah, but better safe than sorry!" Said another voice, this time soft and sweet.

'Am I literally fighting myself in my mind?' Aiden asked himself in disbelief.

"Just attack them DAMN IT!" said the 😈 voice.

"NO!THINK OF THE CONSEQUENCES!WHAT IF SOMETHING BAD HAPPENS TO US AFTERWARDS?" Said the 😇 voice.

Aiden was already getting a headache from the arguing.

He held his two scimitars in one hand and started hitting the side of his head lightly and scratching it, hoping to diminish the voices.

The masked thief stopped circling for a moment.Through their veil, which dark starry eyes peeked out from under, Aiden could see their look of confusion in them.

He blushed, great first impression.He's definitely gonna be remembered for that.

But still, those eyes...

They looked like as if lighting were trapped inside them.

Aiden shook his head," Focus Aiden!You need to focus!"

Aru looked at the boy.
