Thirty Two

I didn't feel like moving away from the warmth she provided in the cold cluster of our room. Laying next to her was all I wanted to do for my busy day event. But I forced myself out of bed and took a fresh in the bathroom before leaving to check on the boys.

When I reached their room the door opened and out stepped Axel. He's holding a mug in his hands and he placed a finger over his mouth as he eased the door closed.

"They're still asleep." He notifies. I gaze at the door, still wanting to check on them myself. I mean it's fine for the boys to still be asleep but I need to see them.

"Do you want to check for yourself?" He asks, having me return my gaze to him.

"If you don't mind." He shrugs. Axel opened the door for me and I went in. The two separate beds are filled with bodies. The boys are in fact still asleep but the girls aren't. The three of them looked at me and I waved slightly.

They waved back, putting a finger on their lips. "They're still sleeping." Bella whispers.

"I can see that, thank you."

Then there was a stir in bed. I look back at the boys and a head raised. It's Allen. Panicked he looked around before getting out of bed which only made Amper and Ashton move themselves. Allen's hair is a mess, even more than before now.

He came up to me and hugged me without saying anything. He even raised his hands up to me.

"What? You want up?" He nods, desperately wanting to pick him up at twelve years of age. I got on my knees and turned around. Allen's arms wrapped around my neck and his legs around my waist. I stood and Amper and Ashton woke.

"Dad." Amper says.

"No." Ashton followed behind him and the both of them instantly came over to me, both hugging my leg.

"Morning, boys." The door opened and Axel shot me a smile.

"Well, they're awake now. You should've let them sleep more." He says.

"I think they sensed me somehow. Why don't you boys freshen up and change hm?"

Allen slid down from me and held my hand. Amper and Ashton stood and Axel called the girls out of the room. Just before they left though, Aura gave Allen a hug. The boys took their shower as I waited for them on their bed. I picked out their clothes and everything.

There was a knock and I gazed over. The door opened and in stepped Jasmine. She's wearing a long brown dress straight down to her feet. She came over and stood in front of me. She's so beautiful.

"Morning."

"Morning." She took a seat beside me and my eyes followed her every move.

"We're going to breakfast and then the museum after Rose said."

"Okay." Silence. We just stared. "You're beautiful."

"Thanks." She smiles. "Did you figure out how you were going to tell them about their mother?"

A sigh. "No. Not yet. Maybe after the trip. I don't want to ruin their mood even further."

"Gah!" The bathroom door opened and out ran Amper and Allen running away from Ashton whose hand is coated with soap. That, and they're naked. Before I could even register anything Jasmine was already leaving.

"AHHH! I've been caught!" Amper fell to the floor in fake death and Allen laughed as he made his way in bed and around me.

"Get back here Al." Ashton taunts with his soapy hands.

"No." He laughs, still hiding behind me. Then Ashton locked eyes with me. And I knew them exactly what was going on in his mind. And before I could warn him, his soapy hands were on my face.
