Another slow night, another hopeless lead, another exhausted blond wandering around searching for something not meant to be found. Tired June slumped against the wall right by the abandoned theme park. Although it wasn't quite as abandoned as December led everyone to believe, but June knew the truth. He had been keeping tabs on the activities of the oldest Month sibling, and also on the newer virus model users to make sure history doesn't repeat itself. He pulled out his phone from his back pocket opening up to the anonymous email he had received a few hours ago.

'I have intel that the creator of the hotel's may not be as connected to the app as some may have guessed. I need you to go to xxx Lane, top floor, the roof door is unlocked. Maybe you will find something useful, sadly I won't be joining you, they are onto me. Take care not to be spotted or you'll end up like the last guy I sent this tip to...

From- You know I can't tell you my name ;]'

The message wasn't very clear, he didn't even know what to be looking for, or who to watch out for. Then again, compared to past anonymous emails and letters he's gotten, this one seemed to actually be worth looking into.

June made it to the address and headed to the roof, like what the email said the door was unlocked. June looked around, finding a note by a random chair, he picked it up and read it out loud.

Take a seat and be patient, look for the meet up to the western alley.

-sincerely your nameless friend ;]

"Seriously... more waiting and vague nonsense... perfect" June sighed in tired irritation. Nala decided to pipe up.

"Woooooow someone's particularly grumpy tonight"

"Nala... I'm not really in the mood for your chit chat. You kept me up all night again... you never let me sleep... so now I gotta live off coffee. So can you just do me a favor and just not talk right now so I can focus on this?" June replied in exasperation.

"Hmmmm... I could... but I don't think I will." Nala teased.

June sighed and settled into the chair waiting for... something, a meeting, suspicious activity, anything that seemed worth dragging himself all the way out here. Hours ticked by June stayed quiet, watching, waiting for anything to stick out. Nala, being the persistent lil glitch that she was, just kept chatting and chatting. June was just about ready to pack up and head back to the apartment, but then, something out of the corner of his eye caught his interest. A few people gathering in a dark corner, being way too cautious. June watched them for a bit, they exchanged a few words before heading out together. June decided to sneak down and follow them, keeping a safe distance, but still keeping within sight. June followed them into the underground sewer system, they disappeared into a cement square structure, to the normal person it would look like a normal sewage control center, but to the eye of a quizzical investigator, it was definitely suspicious. June got closer, sticking to the shadows, once the group of people left, June snuck in.

Looking around June noticed monitors, all displaying various security footage from across multiple points on the city. But what really caught June's eye was a little cluster of cameras angled down at a person tied down to a chair, a little bruised, but still alive. June instantly recognized the person being held captive, he smirked, finding the irony of this situation comical. Pressing the mic button on the keyboard June talked into a microphone that connected to the speakers in the holding cell.

"Greetings ya grumpy gorilla, you look pretty stupid in that zoo cage." June mocked.

Nathan instantly looked up, surprise shifting to annoyance.

"Oh no... not you." Nathan groaned.

"Suck it up buttercup. What are you even doing down here?" June inquired.

"Following a lead on the creator of the hotel... you?" Nathan replied.

"Same... guess the person who tipped me off earlier must have tipped you off too... but your dumb dumb butt got caught." June sassed.

"Oh pu-leeeease, I wanted to get caught so I could get more info, it was a strategic move." Nathan retorted.

"Uh-huh, sure. Whatever helps you sleep at night." June responded coldly, Flare's attitude really had started rubbing off on June, it was annoying, but made this situation more entertaining. "So you need my help busting out of there pretty boy?"

"You're help? Heck nah, I can break out anytime I want." Nathan said confidently.

"Prove it..." June challenged.

"Gladly." Nathan smirked, he used his abilities to yeet a knife in his direction and cut his ropes. Stepping out on the unlocked door with a cocky smile.

"Show off," June grumpily replied.

The two of them made their way out of the lair, comparing notes on what they had found out so far. But it seemed to be a whole lot of nothing, the mastermind behind the hotels still looming just out of reach. They make it out of the sewers, somewhat respectfully parting ways, neither suspecting why there were no goons on their way out.

On a nearby rooftop looms a shadowy figure, a slicked up pink hair piece was the only thing anyone would notice. The figure watched the two men part ways after exiting the sewers, his eyes narrowing as he focused on the exhausted looking blonde.

"Seems like the model monster's aren't the only thing popping up more frequently in town... whoever you are stranger... I'll find out why you're in my city, digging up things you shouldn't be getting involved with."
