History Rewritten What if... December wasn't just a broken man... what if... he was on the dark side? Well in this timeline he is. He is a monster, a killer, cold as the corpses he leaves behind. Yet he never asked for this life, if he had it his way he wouldn't even be around. He's been forced to become this obedient, emotionless weapon. He's too far gone to be saved, and the only one who understands his pain is his wife. Not even his siblings are aware of the suppressed pain he carries. Recently a few kids accidentally became harbingers, he tried for them. He tried to change, he tried to be a better role model, to follow them down the right path. But the darkness wouldn't let go of him so easily. Who could have guessed how one small incident could cause him to spiral into the abyss? A small trip to a farm, it was supposed to be a simple job. Just remove the virus model from a child, only a 5 percent chance of fatality, it wasn't supposed to end this way. She was a sweet child who wanted to escape her over-bearing and controlling mother. The other three children he brought with him instantly bonded with her. Even the extra insanity in his head took a liking to this group. So why... why did he have to get involved? Sage tried to run with Bessie, Finn attempted to control an unstable Tobi, and Daryl was forced to handle the mother. Nothing went right. The mother got flattened by nature from a stray explosion. Finn got burned by Tobi's blind rage. And Sage... she was forced to bury her sister. A night that was supposed to end in joy, was tainted by fate's cruel hand.Nothing was the same after that day. December broke completely. He was going to leave this world as broken as it left him. Finn was distraught, but put on a mask of stern leadership. He was determined to not let his siblings follow December's path. Sage felt alone, empty, the voice of her little sister ringing in her mind. As for Daryl, well he's still loyal to December. He has been trying to help his father figure but Finn keeps a close eye on him. As for the other Month's, well they aren't faring much better. Alex, as well as seeing December lose it, pushed November over the edge. He has become hostile, guarded, and very agitated. Just the way Alex preferred. And October, well she and July have continued their little dance. Only now, that dance is a top corpses. With Xavier's help the city managed to banish the Harbingers to a pocket realm where the insanities roam freely. But nothing is ever lost forever, one day they will return. And when they do, insanities shall reign supreme with the Queen and her puppet husband over all.
