It has been a very stressful week. Finn was struggling with his classes, Daryl tried tutoring him but nothing stuck with Finn... and Daryl would forget what they were talking about sometimes. Sage has been trying, and failing, to get her insanity to quiet down. And December? Well he's been busy doing a bit of everything. Tobi knew everyone needed a break, so when it was his turn alive he decided to take matters into his own hands.

Tobi spent a good chunk of time scrolling the internet for a good spot for them all to enjoy a mini vacation, but everything was so darn expensive! Hunting for a good vacation was harder than he thought. His attention span had been burnt out because of this. With no better alternatives Tobi went to November, explained that he wanted to get December out of the house for a break, they decided to tell Deci that it was a work trip. November, also wanting December out so he can do his own stuff, quickly agreed to Tobi's plan and said he'd handle everything. Tobi skipped away to go play with his bombs, leaving everything in November's potentially capable hands.

And that is how, after many painful hours of research, so much money being spent, convincing December to go, and getting him to drag all four of his kids along, the non-biological Month family came to stand outside of the Red River hotel in Hamburg Germany.

"Soooooo why are we here again?" Sage asked in a partially confused, but mainly annoyed manner.

"Well this was supposed to be a work conference for me... and training camp 2.0 for you kids, but apparently November and Tobi set this all up to get me out of the office and for you kids to have a break, god dammit!" December explained.

"Wait wait wait we gotta do ANOTHER training camp?!" Daryl exclaimed.

"That was the plan... but in this whole darn city there's nowhere isolated enough for you lot to go crazy without risking hurting someone." December replied.

"Oh thank god... I did not want to deal with Tobi's training methods again... or Tobi in general." Finn said, mumbling the last part under his breath.

"So... we're here... for nothing? Does that mean we have to go back home now?" Bessie asked in her small, sweet voice.

"No... No, we've already come this far, like hell I'm driving hours back listening to nothing but Finn and Sage bicker like a married couple!" December answered, placing a hand on Bessie's shoulder. "Anyways, who's hungry?"

"Wait what?" Finn asked, going cross eyed as his brain struggled to keep up with what was happening.

"Oh! Oh! Me! I am!" Daryl exclaimed, raising his hand and jumping up and down like an excited kid.

"Sure, I could grab a bite," Sage added.

"Aight, let's go find a restaurant, my treat cuz all of you are broke." December said, turning away from the hotel.

"Wohoo Dad's treating! Ooooo we should get dessert!" Daryl said, running ahead.

"Dessert? What's that?" Bessie asks looking up at Sage.

"Oh it's uhm... it's sweet food. C'mon we're gonna get you some." Sage replied with a smile, taking her adopted little sister's hand and following after Daryl.

"I... ok guess we're doing this." Finn sighed, then followed after his siblings. December watched as the kids walked ahead of him, he followed from a distance staying just out of ear shot.

"What is it Tobi?" December asked, glancing to his left as a pink, glitched out apparition of Tobi appeared.

"Don't stay at that hotel." Tobi said in an unusually flat tone.

"Oh?" December responded, stopping to look at Tobi.

"You do know who runs it don't you?"

"Oh no I'm aware... it's one of Xavier's." December said, walking over to his adopted kids who were waving him over. They had picked a restaurant and were waiting for him.
