Naruto.. I smiled.
"Ha! Now that I'm here, everything will be alright!"
"Naruto!" Sakura exclaimed, excited.
"You know how in stories, the hero usually shows up at the last minute and then kicks butt? Well that's what I'm gonna do right now, believe it!" I grinned brighter and tried not to laugh too much. It was kind of adorable.
"Ugh, not this brat again." Zabuza growled, turning his head to look at him.
"Alright, you're history!" Naruto made a handsign. "Shadow Clone Jutsu!"
"Huh? No!" Kakashi yelled. I looked over and saw Zabuza throw some shurikan at Naruto. "Naruto, move!" Naruto just stood there, fear on his face.
"Naruto, get out of the way!" I stood up, a little worried. Quickly, out of the corner of my eye, I saw Haku throw senbon, and stop the shurikan, making everyone gasp.
"They didn't get him.." Sakura said, probably to herself.
"Their weapons canceled each other out, amazing, now that's what I call lucky, I think." Tazuna replied to her.
"What are you doing, Naruto, are you crazy?!"
"This is a battle, not a talent show! Don't let your opponent see your jutsu! The shinobi's art is deception, always keep the enemy guessing! Even when executing a single jutsu, one must distract their opponents attention, catch them off balance, and outmaneuver them. You just turned yourself into a human target when you enter a battle like that!" Naruto put his hands against his head and screamed a little, upset.
"I'm sorry, I was just trying to save everybody!"
"But..there's another mystery here.." Kakashi looked at Haku. I took the opportunity and looked at Sasuke, whispering.
"Come on Sasuke, we got to get up. We gotta figure something out to beat this guy." I put my hand under his arm and started to help him up. He knelt down next to me, and yanked his arm out of my hand.
"Knock it off, I didn't ask for your help." He said, glaring at me. I frowned at him, and gripped the front of his shirt hard.
"Listen, you stupid prick, we have to figure out how to get out of here, because if not, we won't go home, and I'd much rather go home, so I don't care if I have to drag your ass around, or hog tie you and put you on my back, but you're gonna help me beat this guy, or I swear to god, I'll beat the shit out of you when we get back." I warned him. He glared at me for a moment before looking away.
"Hm." I shoved him back a little, letting go of his shirt.
"That's what I thought." I looked back over, and noticed Haku and Naruto having a staredown. I slowly stood up, and pulled out the kunai that was outside the dome, when it flew from Sasuke.
"I'm warning you! One way or another, I'm gonna rip off that mask and take you apart!"
"Don't even think about it." Zabuza suddenly said. I looked over and saw Kakashi looking at us with worry. "You know the score. If you go after Haku, I go after the bridgebuilder. Relax Kakashi. Sit back and enjoy the show. Let's see how they do. One on One. Or, i guess, one on two." I growled a little, and motioned outside the dome.
"Sasuke, we have time, let's get out." I whispered. He only grabbed a kunai, and threw it at Haku's face. It looked like it was gonna make it, until he tilted his head back, making it miss.
"Dammit, Sasuke!" I smacked him in the back of the head.
"Ow! Knock it off, freak!" I growled, and picked him up by the front of his shirt a little, making him stand up all the way. He was a few inches taller than me, but he didn't intimidate me.
