I groaned a tiny bit, and opened my eyes a little, seeing Naruto stand there with his eyes widened. I closed my eyes for a moment, and then rolled on my stomach, making my hair go over to one shoulder, looking up. I saw Kakashi away from Zabuza, and in his hand was Haku. Or rather, his hand was in Haku. I gasped a little, and put my head down on the concrete, tired, and watched. Kakashi gently pulled his hand out of Haku, and laid him down on the ground. His hand was covered in blood, but he went and closed Haku's eyes, it seemed.
"This is MY battle! Zabuza's mine!" He glared up at Zabuza.
"Naruto? Naruto! Over here! Naruto!" I looked up and saw Sakura waving her arm. She didn't see me yet. I guess I better get to Sasuke.. I forced myself to stand up, and I walked slowly over to Sasuke, and hit the ground again. I sat there on my legs, kneeling down, but with my hands in my lap. He was gone. Poor Sakura.. "So you and Sasuke are alright?"
"Uh..um.." Naruto was quiet.
"What's wrong? Where is Sasuke anyway?!"
"Uh.."
"No.." I heard her mumble.
"Kakashi! I'd stay focused if I were you!" Zabuza ran at Kakashi. I looked and saw Tazuna grab her hand, and they started running over here. I looked up at her, hiding behind my hair, and I heard her gasp. She just stood and stared, trying not to cry. She knelt down and pressed her hand against his cheek.
"His body's cold..this isn't just one of his genjutsu's, is it..?" She asked, slightly hopeful, but with her voice cracking. I closed my eyes, looking down, still hiding behind my hair.
"No..I'm sorry, Sakura...I..I..."
"Go on, you don't need to be brave on my account. Go ahead and let your feelings out, Sakura, it's alright." Tazuna said. Sakura just caressed Sasuke's cheek.
"I was best..aced every test at the academy. The perfect student."
"Hm?" Tazuna looked at us. "Did you know there are more than one hundred principals of shinobi conduct? I memorized every single one. I used to love it when they tested us on them. Gave me a chance to show how smart I was...I remember this one so clearly this one exam, they asked us to explain the 25th principal. I got it right, of course." She started crying. "A shinobi never shows his feelings, no matter what the circumstance is...feelings are a weakness that only cloud their judgement and weaken their sense of duty.." She started crying, making tears fall on his cheek. "Sasuke.."
She put her head on his chest, crying harder. I put my hand on her shoulder, and around her, trying to comfort her. I looked back, and saw a little man with a cane. I stood up after patting Sakura, and slowly walked over there, closer. I also saw Zabuza's sword hit the ground, with his arms hanging limply.
"Did quite a job on you, huh Zabuza? You look like yesterday's Sashimi. I must say, I'm...disappointed." I looked behind him, and there were samurai everywhere, grinning and ready to kill.
