I Promise (A Yeinkook Fanfic) [On Hiatus]

It's Friday and once again Yein can feel how she misses Friday. She greets the students in the hallway with her sweet smile before walking in class and joins her friends. She accidentally notices Myung eun smiling, to Jin from afar. Lately Myung eun has been acting weird. Too weird for Yein not to notice. She's been secretly taking glances at Jin and smiling on her own everytime she's playing with her phone. Yein is even confuse at how her friends don't realise that Myung eun has been acting weird these past few days. She just shruggs of the thoughts as the bell rings for the first lesson. She takes a seat at her seat and takes note of the lesson. When the recess bell rings they walk out to eat lunch at the cafetaria. As they start eating Yein who's next to Myung eun secretly takes glance at her phone. She swears she saw her using a heart emoticon on her text

"Myung eun eonni~" she calls for the elder female and she quickly closes her phone as if she's hiding something. Myung eun then hums in respon and try her best to act normal

"Aren't you gonna eat?" The younger female ask looking at her meal

"Ne! I will eat it.." She said and immediately taking her chopstick on the side of her plate. Yein furrowed her eyebrow at how her eonni is acting weird but she just keep that aside and continue eating. The day went on as usual and when it's already dismissal time Myung eun gathers all her friends on the gate to inform something. She told them to go to her house at 6 PM for a little gathering. They nod in agreement and as usual Mijoo and Yein walk together to their houses. She opens her bedroom door and throws her bag on the side of her make up table. She decided to take a quick nap before going on to Myung eun's gathering. She sets her alarm to 5 o'clock before laying on her bed and closing her eyes dozing off to dream land

'TET TET TET'

Yein wakes up due to the loud alarm on her bed side. She turns it off before rubbing her eyes and blinks a couple of time regaining her consciousness. She sits down on her bed and look at her window and sees the sky's already in a light shade of orange. She then stands up from her bed and takes her towel not wanting to waste any more time. She takes a bath and when she's done it's already 5.20. She dries her hair with a towel and walks to her closet to take her clothes. Since it's just a normal gathering with her friends she decided to keep it casual. She's wearing a red sweater with a ripped shorts (her clothes on the media). She dries her hair with a hair dryer before putting it on messy bun. She uses her simple black velvet choker and apply a bit pink lip tint on her lips. When she's done it's already 5.40. She quickly takes her phone and heads down not wanting to be late. She wears her white adidas shoes before walking out the door. She locks it and decided to go with Mijoo to Myung eun's house. She knocks the door and the door opens revealing Mijoo ready to go

"Eonni.. Let's go together.." Yein said and smiles at her. The elder female just nods in agreement and walks out before closing the door and locking it. They enter the car since Myung eun's house kinda far from their house so it's tiring to walk. The driver then starts the car and drives to the destination. It takes about 25 minutes to her house and when they arrive they smile to the driver and thank him. They enter her house casualy and to their surprise they see Bangtan looking at them. Mijoo just casualy walk to Baby soul at the kitchen meanwhile Yein is still frozen at the door. Myung eun approaches her shocked friend standing in front of the door. Yein soon snaps back to reality to see Myung eun standing in front of her

"Eonni! Why are you inviting them here?!?" Yein whispers with a high tone

"Uhm.. I'm gonna tell you later why.. Let's just go in.." She said and pulling her into the house before closing the door behind her. Jungkook is looking at her from afar and Yein is just walking awkwardly to Soojeong who is sitting on the couch. Yein is now mentally cursing herself for wearing shorts. Most of it is not her fault tho' since Myung eun never told her that she will be inviting boys also. Jungkook is still taking a glance at Yein still feeling guilty at what he did to her. As time pass he really couldn't keep the guilt anymore so he walks to her and pulls her to the garden at the back of the house

"Yah! What are you doing?!" Yein said as she releases his strong grip on her wrist

"Please forgive me.. I know i'm wrong for accusing you.. But I didn't know.. Please just forgive me.." Jungkook said sincerely. This is the first time ever he apoligize to her. Even though it feels unfamiliar but he just had the urge to do it. He needs to stop the guilty feeling anytime soon. Suddenly the glass door to the garden opens revealing Jimin. Aish Jimin! Jungkook thought. Jimin always comes at the most awkward moments for some reason

"Uh.. I just want to inform that Myung eun called everyone to gather in the living room.." He said before closing back the glass door in front of him. Yein then sigh in relief and walks to the glass door before Jungkook stops her by holding her wrist

"Yein-ah.." Jungkook said with a hint of sadness in his voice. Yein just shruggs his hand off and continue walking to the living room. They enter the living room and all eyes are on them but she doesn't even care. She hates the moment right now. She takes a seat next to Mijoo on the couch and ignores everyone

"What happened?" The elder female ask her and she just shakes her head clearly not wanting to talk about it. Jungkook then stands beside Taehyung before releasing a deep sigh

"Yah! Hurry and tell us the reason your inviting us.." Suga said breaking the awkward silence and they all nod in agreement

"Ok.. So.. You're all gathered here because... We need to tell you guys something.." Myung eun said looking at Jin with a smile. Uh oh. This is going to be bad. Yein thought as she's already guessing what they're gonna say

"Jin and I have already been dating for these past weeks.." She said and all of the cheers happily. Except for Yein and Jungkook. Great! Now i have to hang out with that boy more frequently! Yein thought as she burries her head on her hand. Jungkook is still worried how awkward it will be around Yein. Their friends are to happy and busy congratulating the new couple to even recognize them. Yein and Jungkook kept silence for the whole hour afterwards without saying a single word. When it's already late they bid their farewells and went to their houses to rest.

Yein opens her door and greets her parents acting that she's all ok when she's actually not. She walks to her room and change in a quick before throwing herself on her bed. She takes her pillow and puts it on her face. She wants to scream really loud but that's not possible. Screaming alone at the middle of the night is something she can't do right now. Can't anything get more horrible now?
