[Arcane] Departure (Caitvi & Timebomb Post S2)

Changes

Everyone suffered a rough week between the concert attack and the bombing of the bar. Caitlyn and Vi needed a good night's rest. Orianna spent her time doing more hextech research to guarantee her success in her new position.

Caitlyn was resting peacefully before Vi began to mumble. The noise quickly woke Caitlyn up, who leaned over to check on Vi.

"Violet?" Caitlyn whispered.

"Pow..." Vi mumbled.

Caitlyn frowned. This dream again. Vi was crying. Caitlyn shook Vi's shoulder, but she didn't budge. Cait sat up and started to rub her hands through Vi's hair.

"It's going to be alright, Vi," Caitlyn soothed.

Caitlyn watched as Vi's eyes moved around underneath her eyelids. She was squeezing them shut. Caitlyn could only hope it would pass. Suddenly, Caitlyn heard something shatter. In an instant, a figure burst through the window and pulled Caitlyn out of bed, pinning her against the wall.

Caitlyn gasped and choked as the figure gripped harder.

"Caitlyn Kiramman! How would you feel about resigning from the council?" The lady with white hair asked.

"F-Ferros doesn't s-scare... me!" Caitlyn choked.

"Really? I-"

Vi hit the woman with a right hook from behind. She spun around, and Vi dug her knee into the lady's stomach. Suddenly, the woman swung her leg up in Vi's face. A giant blade was where her foot should be. Vi's face was cut open from chin to cheek. While Vi kept her distracted, Caitlyn grabbed her rifle and ran towards the fight. She got a better look at her attacker and made a realization.

"Camille Ferros," Caitlyn growled.

Caitlyn hit Camille in the head with the rifle, knocking her back. Then, she fired a shot that Camille dodged. The bedroom door blew open as Orianna's ball immediately flew into Camille and knocked a hole into the house that Camille fell out of. Orianna jumped out of the hole and Vi ran to grab her gauntlets. Orianna had been fixing them up while Caitlyn and Vi were sleeping.

Orianna landed outside the mansion on a muddy lawn. It was raining heavily outside, lowering the visibility. Orianna shielded herself with her ball as she looked around for Camille. A blade came from behind Orianna, breaking her shield. Orianna caught the blade, but it dug into her hands. She quickly swung Camille up into the air and slammed her into the ground. Orianna's hands were chipped from the action. Camille suddenly shot a hook from her leg that flew through Orianna's torso. Camille charged forward and cut Orianna on her arm. Orianna watched as her arm detached from her body. She knocked her ball into Camille to get the hook out of her chest quickly. She felt weak, her body crumbling into pieces.

Vi and Caitlyn ran out the front door, witnessing as Orianna stood with a hole in her torso, her left arm gone. Vi charged in and punched Camille in the face. Caitlyn fired a shot while Camille was stunned and knocked her back. Camille grappled the ground in front of Caitlyn and charged at her. Orianna threw her ball in front of Camille, and Camille stabbed straight through it with her leg. She grabbed it with her hands and pulled it across her leg, leaving a massive cut from its center to the exterior. Vi shot a rocket from her gauntlet that blasted Camille in the face. Camille dashed out of the smoke and spun her leg all the way back before sweeping it across Orianna's body.

Camille looked at Orianna and laughed. She grappled to the walls of the mansion and began to run. Caitlyn yelled and fired shots as Camille scaled the building. She landed one on Camille's side who yelled in pain but still managed to flee the scene.

"Orianna!" Caitlyn cried.

Orianna laid still, head moving robotically. One sweep from Camille's leg cut Orianna clean in half.
