During sixth period Delilah, Tegan and Wesley, who had just arrived home from the excursion, were called to the principal's office.

Their parents sat in the office. The teenagers thought back to the last week. Delilah's Parliament House hacking hadn't even made the local news, Tegan hadn't yelled at anyone, Wesley had been beaten up but the police were dealing with that. There had to be something wrong.

It was the look on Trent Baxter's face that spoke volumes his head rested on his clasped hands, his brows furrowed and his eyes clenched tightly. He looked up at the three teenagers. "I'm sorry kids," he said.

"Im yerekhan," Mrs Basmijan repeated, running up and holding her daughter.

The principal stepped out of his office motioning for the teenagers to come into his office. They sat in the three seats in front of his desk.

Delilah took Tegan's hand and nudged the metal bin closer to her with her leather school shoe.

"Delia, Terra and Wendell I'm afraid I have to be the bearer of bad news. Kip Pulman has tragically passed away," Mr Chase said.

"When you say passed away do you mean like how a sick puppy passes away naturally or like someone has stabbed him with a knife?" Tegan asked.

"There is currently a police investigation going on. As you three are closest to Kip please contact Officer Lawson," he said.

Wesley sat up straighter. "Is this why Christie was arrested and covered in blood?" Wesley said.

"What? Who found him?" Tegan asked.

"Marc Cavener and Christina Claythorne," Mr Chase said.

"How are they?" Tegan asked.

"They are currently in questioning," he said.

Delilah squeezed Tegan's hand. Tegan looked forward at the principal. The man already looked like he'd aged ten years, he fidgeted under her intense stare.

"I have one more question," Tegan said. "How did it happen? I have to know sir."

"I am not sure yet Tessa but we will keep you informed."

"Tegan, sir. I have another question. Was Kip murdered?"

"We have reason to believe he was."

Delilah let out a wail. Wesley stared at the floor. Tegan took both of their hands. Delilah wrenched her hand out of her best friend's grip and grabbed the metal bin heaving. Tegan gathered her hair and kept it out of her face.

"It's going to be okay Dells," she said, pulling Delilah's glasses off her face and pulling her hair back.

Wesley remained stoic and unmoved by the information. After a minute he put his hand on Delilah's arm.

After Delilah blew her nose and shakily stood up the three of them left the office, Delilah leaning heavily on Wesley.

Kip was finally gone. Was it a reason to rejoice or something to fear?

Delilah burst into tears as Wesley wrapped his arms around her. Tegan followed after them, dragging her feet after her. Her father met her at the office desk. He directed her to the car.

"I mean we all joked about killing him but I can't believe someone did it. Dad I can't believe it," Tegan whispered.

A/N:

Delilah's Mum said "My child" I'm sorry I'm using google translate (the least reputable of all things) to translate into Armenian so if anyone can help me with this than go ahead :)

This was originally meant to be in the last chapter but that didn't make a lot of sense hence the point five. I've prewritten heaps it's just uploading and typing it all up. Any mistakes let me know. Thanks for reading.
