Chapter 7 - Awkward

Momoko's POV

We return to the cinema to wait till we could enter the theatre to watch Friday the 13th. I couldn't wait any longer. I've been dying to watch this but since the arguments between my Mum and Dad, things will never be the same. It's like i have no freedom in my life anymore after the unsettling argument. So, this hangout between me and Brick is so far great

'If only my family could sort things out, my life wouldn't be so harsh...' I said to myself.

"Hey Pinky?!" I heard Brick calling out my name.

"Huh?!" I escaped from my thoughts.

"Come on, the movie is gonna start soon. We should go to our seats first." Brick said.

"Oh okay!" I shrieked.

Finally, i could watch this movie.

[ Time Skip ]

I have to admit, i'm easily being scared. While i was watching the movie, i keep closing my eyes with my own bare hands. Sometimes i take peek just to see what is going on and i ended up hugging Brick in the end. That was embarassing. The scene was so scary, i almost cried there. But Brick comfort me, he bring me close to his chest. I felt warm and protected. I could even hear his heartbeat.

Brick's POV

After the movie ended, we went out from the theatre. I wanted to chuckled at Pinky's reaction. She is so cute. Instead, i just gave her a squeeze. To be honest, i like this feeling. It feels like i'm protecting her from all odds. I comfort her and run my hand through her silky auburn hair. She is so beautiful. So after the movies, me and Pinky decided to go to the new arcade. When we reached there, we went straight to the counter to get our cards. Why do we need cards? Simple, this cards will be use to enter the game and also to save your points that you've earn after playing the game. Pretty cool huh? I bought the cards for myself and for Pinky. We entered and the place was spectacular. No lie. I smirked and look at Pinky. I could see a smile on her face which tells me that she's excited to play.

"So Pinky, what game you want to play first?" I asked Pinky.

"Hmm, I challenge you to a game of air hockey." Pinky challenged me.

"Oh, you're on. 5 points and the winner wins." I blurted.

"Whatever you say but i'm sure i'll beat you anyway." Pinky said, smiling away.

I grabbed her from her waist and bring her closer to me. I went closer to her ear and whisper,

"We'll see about that..."

I let go of her and winked at her. I turn around and went straight to the air hockey section. I put the card in for myself and for Pinky. We picked up our mallets and went to the ends of the the air hockey table. We played rock, paper, scissors so the winner could make the first hit on the puck. Guess what? Pinky won. So she make her first hit.

[ Time Skip ]

Me and Pinky have been playing for minutes and the score was 2-4. Which means one move from me and i win. I had my whole concentration on the game. I can't afford to lose to Pinky. I look up at Pinky and she look so damn sexy. With her silky auburn hair tied up into a red ribbon which makes her look cute like a sweet child, her pink tanktop and black jacket fit her upper body well and her black skirt was perfect for her waist. She is what i called, definition of perfect. Any guy who rejected her must be blind. I mean she is so easy going and beautiful.

'She is so goddamn beautiful..what?! Brick you can't say that. I'm the leader of the rowdyruff boy. Nobody loves you. You're a villain and made of pure evil.'

I snapped out from my thoughts. I shooked my head and try to gain back my focus on the game. One more, just one more and i win.

Pinky hit the puck and i hit it back. Pinky couldn't cover her slot so the puck went straight into the goal. The screen showed 'player two wins'. I throw my mallet and did my mini dance celebration. Yeah, i have my celebration dance so don't judge or else i'll chop off your head. I stopped my dance as soon as i heard a huge sighed from Pinky. I turned around and look at Pinky.

"Something wrong Pinky?"I asked.

"Nothing. It's just that i've never get beaten in any games before. People always call me 'geeky' because i love video games." Pinky said.

"Now you know you're not alone. I mean i love to play video games to but if people said things about me like that, i don't care." I said.

"Hmph but it's not fair!" Pinky said.

"What's not fair Pinky?" I said.

I went to Pinky and grab her from her waist. I pulled her closer to me. I could feel my temperature rising, my cheeks was turning furious red. I smirk at her. This was what i wanted. Me and her alone so that i could steal her away from anybody. I leaned nearer to her. My forehead pressed against her's. I stare deep into her pink electrifying eyes. Everytime i look at her eyes, i am lost. I couldn't control myself. I gently press my lips against her's and i started to wonder inside her mouth. Soon enough i let go just to catch my breath. I look at Pinky and she was blushing furiously. Also, she look like she's frowning at me and also showing the expression of shock.

"What's wrong Pinky? Cats got your tongue?" I asked.

"More like your tongue..." She said.

"Angry Pinky?" I asked, putting my hand on her chin.

"What do you think, Hot Rod?!" Pinky said and shove my hand away from her chin.

"Hot Rod?" I said.

"Yeah! You know Brick, we've just met yesterday and you're doing things like this. You don't even know me that well even though i introduce myself to you but just two days it doesn't mean it's time to be together. I already told you that we are going out as friends and not more. And this hangout is just to cheer up, not bring me down." Pinky said with harsh tone.

'She never rage like this before. I guess i bring her hopes down. I'm such an idiot.'

"You know what? It's getting kinda late, i should probably go home but thanks for the hangout anyway." Pinky said.

She took her card out from the slot and turn herself towards the exit. I watch her leave until she disappeared from the arcade. What have i done? Now my relationship with Pinky will be awkward. I sighed and took my card out. I didn't bother to give the card back to the counter. I just leave the arcade.

I put my hoodie on and walk pass by all the shops which were going to close because like what Pinky said, it's kinda late. One of the shops got my attention. It was a gift shop, full of flowers, teddy bears and cards. I enter the shop and take a look around. I took one of the teddy bear from the shelf. It was cute. It had a heartshape in the middle saying 'You're my number 1'. I went to the cashier and purchase it. I went out from the shop and let out a huge sigh...

'Maybe tomorrow I'll try to work things up. I love you, Pinky and i always will....'

[ Next Story will be about Kaoru and Butch. If you realise, i update every single chapter just to spell Kaoru's name correctly because all along i've been writing her name with a different saying or wtvr. And also sorry I took to long to update but this is the chapter. I hope you guys are looking forward to the new chapter. It will be posted tomorrow. love you guys. ]
