Momoko's POV
After that chat with Miyako, i couldn't even sleep a wink. I kept thinking about the stupid things i use to do rather than being a girly girl, going around boys and flirting. I used to be a troublemaker with Kaoru but we were in a lot of cases so we decide to lay low. I look at the girls in this society these days. All want to hook up with a boy at one corner and makeout with them. I tried to fit in, doing all of what the girls did, flirting, pretending to be hurt and whatever bullshit they did. I decide to get up and don't change a single thing. I'm gonna get up from my bed and be my old self again. I took a shower and wore a white shirt and a red vest over it, a red and black detail skirt, white knee-length socks and red heels with a ribbon on it. I did my makeup, let my hair down and put my headphones on. I didn't bother to eat breakfast. I went out of the house and walk to school. I arrive shortly and went to my classroom to relax for a bit before students start coming in.
Miyako's POV
I woke up around 7.30 and realise i only have 30 mins to travel to school and get ready. I quickly took a shower and dress up. I wore a blue blouse which has a red ribbon in the middle, a black skirt and knee length blue boots. I tied my hair into a ponytail and curl it. I walk to school, usually i would walk with Momoko but when i called her, she didn't answer. Mostly, rejected my calls. So when i was walking to school, i saw Kaoru skating near the park. So i decided to go to school with her.
"Kaoru-san!" I shouted.
"Miyako? Why aren't you with Momoko?" Kaoru asked as she skate towards me.
"She rejected my calls so i guess she's not in the mood..." I replied sadly.
"Well you can go to school with me, if you want to..." Kaoru offered.
I hug her and say thank you. We soon arrive in time before first period started. Kaoru and I went to grab some books at our locker so we can put in behind our class. It will be easier just to grab our books if we put it behind in our on cupboard. We have math, phys ed, biology, art and then free period. It's gonna be a long day.
We went to our class and sat at our tables. We look at Momoko who was sitting alone at the back with her legs on top of the table, listening to her loud music. Then the Rowdyruff's came. They sat beside each one of us. I kept looking at Momoko and Brick. I hope they could get along again.
Normal POV
"Hey Miya!" Boomer greeted me with his warm smile.
"Hello! How are you?" Miyako asked Boomer.
"It has been great when you became my friend, Miya." Boomer replied.
"Aww Boomie, your so cute!" Miyako said, being flattered by Boomer's compliment.
Soon Miss Keane came in. The students greeted her and settled down.
"Class, i have an important announcement, the school has open up an audition for those who can sing very well. The audition is today, it will be held at the Auditorium. Now let's get back to our lesson, so take out your textbook and turn to page 50. We are learning about a new topic called Similarity and Congruence." Miss Keane said.
Boomer's POV
After the announcement Miss Keane had made, i was thinking of joining the audition and sing a song about Miyako. Wouldn't that be great? I wonder what song should i sing? This thoughts were in my head. Urgh! They're making my head explode. Maybe i shouldn't worry so much. Suddenly Miyako tapped my shoulder.
"Yes Miya?" I answered.
"Are you going to sing?" She asked.
"No, i can't sing..." I replied. [ Poor Boomer, he can't sing.]
"Oh, i was thinking maybe you could watch me during the audition." She asked.
"Sure i'll be there to support you!" I replied.
Miyako smiled and turn her head facing the whiteboard. I turn in front to so i won't get punished for not paying attention.
Brick's POV
I wanted to talk to Momoko but she kept using her headphone and i admit, she look different. She look like a school girl, listening to loud music. I gathered all my courage and tried talking to her. I tapped her shoulder. She remove her headphone and look at me.
"Hey, you okay?" I asked her.
"Yeah, i am. Why did you asked?" She asked me.
"Just checking. You look different." I compliment her.
"I feel different. Anyways i forgive you for what happened yesterday." She said and winked at me.
She placed her headphone back and listen to her music. I was shocked. I mean she's acting different. Woah! I like her now. She is so cool. I smile and paid attention to Miss Keane whose explaining the whole textbook.
Kaoru's POV
I didn't paid attention to what Miss Keane said. I was talking to Butch about the things we did yesterday and what i tried to did, was stupid. We kept looking at Momoko and Brick because they didn't talk at all. Momoko with her headphone and Brick kept looking at her as if he wanted to talk to her. Suddenly, i saw Brick and Momoko finally talking. I tap on Butch's shoulder, hard and asked him to look at Momoko and Brick. We find it weird because i thought they both had a fight with each other but now Momoko happily smiling and Brick's bright eyes. I thought maybe Momoko had realise what she did, changing for some stupid thing was stupid. I smiled and look back in front. I tap Butch's shoulder to look in front and leave both of them alone. He turn in front and look at me with a puzzled face.
"You want to leave them alone?" Butch said.
"Yeah, it's not wrong. Isn't it?" I answered and grab both of Butch's cheeks and squeeze it.
"Okay that's enough, by the way you are singing right?" Butch said as he swipe my hand from his cheeks.
"Yeah whatever." I agreed that i'm gonna sing.
"Cool, i'll support you." Butch said as he wink at me.
"Hmph, as you wish..." I replied.
[ Time Skip ]
After school was over, me and the others went to the cafeteria and eat up before we start singing. I don't want to sing but obviously Miyako would forced me with her cute eyes. Urgh! It's not that i'm scared but i never sing before to an audience especially to a Rowdy. Haiss, i hope i will do my best.
'What if i fail or i can't sing, i'm gonna make a fool of myself on the stage. What am i gonna do?!'
"Hey Kaoru, you okay?" Butch asked me.
"Yes i'm fine, just a little bit worried..." I answered.
"Well as long as you do your best, everything will be cool, trust me. I will be there to support you!" Butch said, giving me encouragement.
"Thanks for supporting me, Butch..." I said as he kissed my forehead.
"Alright love birds enough now..." Momoko said.
"Awww but why, they are so cute!" Miyako said.
"That's why! They couldn't have their own moment if they are surrounded by us." Momoko said as she crunch down her salad.
"Well alright. By the way, you two should go out someday!" Miyako suggested.
"Heh, in your dreams Miyako!" I said sternly.
"What! You should because Butch looks like a guy who could take care of you, even from that perverted jerk, Mike." Miyako said.
"She does got a point..." Momoko said.
"Well whatever it is, let's finish our food and get our ass off before we will be late for the audition." I said.
We ate as fast as we could. When we're done, we return the trays and proceed to go to the auditorium because that's where the audition where held. I'm so nervous because they are a lot of students who are joining this audition.
'*gulp* I hope i can do my best....'
