Chapter 5 - Hangout

Momoko's POV

After detention, I went back home first to get ready before i go out with Brick. I got ready and wore a pink tanktop, black leather jacket, black ruffle skirt, pink and black leggings and pink converse shoes. After i got ready, i texted Brick.

Hey Brick, i'm ready. ~ momoko akatsutsumi.

Alright. I'll pick you up at 6. If you're okay with that? :) ~ red brick.

Yeah i'm okay with that. See you later i guess. ~ momoko akatsutsumi.

See you later, Pinky :) ~ red brick.

6pm roams around and i'm waiting for Brick at my living room. Suddenly my sister, Kuriko came and saw me sitting in the living room. She came to me and sat the heart shaped chair right across me.

"Where are you going dressing up so fancy?" Kuriko asked.

"Going out with a friend." I said.

"Guy or Girl?" Kuriko asked.

"Guy?" i replied giving her a weird look.

"What is this guy's name?" Kuriko asked.

"*sigh* His name is Brick. Kuriko my little sister, me and him are just friends. No more, No less." I said.

"Okay whatever you say. Have fun and don't be back late or else Mom and Dad will find out that you went out and especially with a guy." Kuriko advice me.

"I'll take your advice Kuriko." I said with a smile on my face.

Then i heard a knock on the door. I went to look through the peephole, expecting Brick but i saw Ken. Wait, what is he doing here? I open the door and ask him to come in.

"Hello Ken!" I said.

"Hello Momoko! Umm, is Kuriko here?" Ken asked.

"Yeah she is. She's in the living room." I replied.

"Thanks, Momoko" Ken said.

Ken looked away from me and walked down the hallway, turning right towards the living room.

I just watch as he walk away and slowly disappeared. Strange. What would Ken be doing with my sister? I mean yes he knows my sister because they are in the same class but Ken coming all the way from the lab to my house. That's a long way. Why would Ken, a guy who works for me, a powerpuff girl and his father's assistant looking for my sister, Kuriko? Odd.

Suddenly i got interrupted by a pat on my shoulder. I turn around and saw Brick.

"Ready to go Momoko?" Brick asked.

"Yeah, sure." I replied closing the door at the same time.

"You alright? You seem lost?" Brick said.

"Yeah i'm fine. Just wondering that's all." I replied.

"I see..." Brick said.

"Look Brick. I wanted to apologize. I promised you to hangout after school but because i fell asleep after science period i got detention. And i troubled you to go and pick me up so we can go out together." I said sadly.

"You don't have to apologize Pinky. This hangout was a promise. My promise. I don't want to make promises that i don't intend to keep and especially to you." Brick said.

He stop walking and turn around to face me. I stare at his blood red eyes. Normally in battle if i stare into his deep, intense red eyes, i feel weak and there is no chance of winning. But now i could stare deeply into his eyes for hours or days, i don't feel weak. I feel love and passion. Wait what! No Momoko, he is still your enemy. A rowdyruff boy. But why i'm falling for him and i kiss him before entering the cafeteria today? This is too complicated.

"Look Pinky, we were friends 2 days ago and to me it looks like i've known you for years. You are kind, gentle and even fragile when people touch you. You seem to speak to me somehow i mean you know how i'm like and all just like my ex girlfriend..." Brick said.

"You have an ex girlfriend?" I stammered.

"I do actually." Brick said and sigh.

"Okay..." I said and walk away from Brick.

"Momoko...." Brick said.

"Yes Brick?" I said.

"Let's go and have some fun." Brick said and grab my hand.

We run to the new shopping mall and decide to catch a movie. I was dying to watch Friday the 13th but i think Brick would want to choose a movie that he likes. Rowdyruffs are always so self centered and always care for themselves.

"Pinky, what movie do you wanna watch?" Brick said.

Wait!! Did he just ask me what movie i want to watch? Oh my god!! Come on, Momoko. Keep cool and don't overreact or else Brick will think i'm crazy.

"Umm...Friday the 13th?" I said.

"Okay, i'll buy the tickets. You wait here okay?" Brick said.

"Okay Brick." I replied.

He walk to the counter and queue up to but tickets.

I didn't know a rowdyruff can be kind if his undercover. But in fighting all you see is snobby, bitchy, annoying attitudes. Everytime when i'm in my Blossom's form, he keep calling me old, hag and all the stuff that makes me pissed off but in Momoko's form, he so sweet and gave me a nickname, Pinky. Why can't he be much more nicer when i'm in Blossom's form.

"Here you go Pinky." Brick said.

"The movie starts around 7.30. Should we get dinner first?" Brick asked.

"Yeah sure. Why not? Since it's only 6.30." I said and smiling away.
