Kaoru's POV
Exam is finally over !! Finally, no more homeworks, tests and activities. It's 2 weeks vacation time for us highschool students.
"Now, i understand that holidays are here but don't forget, it's the day you get your report card and those who didn't meet the criteria will be spending their holidays with me !" Ms Keane said as she neatly stacked up the report card.
'Shit! I forgot all about it! I don't want to spend my vacation with her !'
"Relax babe, if you have to stay here for hols, i'm willing to sacrifice my hols just to be with you..." Butch said as if he read my thoughts.
"Baka! Stop reading my thoughts will you !!"
"Can't help it, you're so easy to read.." Butch chuckled, as if having fun teasing me.
"Why you lil- " I raged, grabbing Butch's collar and almost punching him when i got interrupted.
"Kaoru Matsubara " Ms Keane called.
I got up from sit and went to the teachers' desk. Ms Keane glare at me.
"Dammit.." I mumbled.
She gave my report card. Looking down, i took my report card and went back to my sit. I was shaking, i didn't want to look at my results.
"Tch, go ahead and look Kaoru " Butch said, clicking his tongue.
"Shut up !" I snarled as i flip over my card.
"See ? Ain't that bad after all..." Butch said, getting up from his seat, collecting his report card from Miss Keane.
"How's your result, Kaoru-san" Miyako asked as she glance over to my seat.
"I don't have a bad grade, for the first time" I smirked.
"Thank god you don't have to stayed behind with Miss Keane..." Miyako said, relieved.
"Ehhh ?! Doubting me weren't you ?"
"I mean you literally spend time watching soccer matches, who wouldn't be worried ?"
"Okay students please try to do better for your next examination! Please don't slack off, your finals are coming up ! The 9 students that will have to return during the holiday please show up or you'll be severely punished !!" Ms Keane, clearly instructed and dismissed us.
We took our bags and went to our lockers to clear it up since 1st semester is over.
"I can't believe it, everything happens quickly, next semester will be our final tests and then college entrance exam " Miyako shocked as she look towards her calender that was pinned at the side of the door.
I rolled my eyes and saw the boys coming towards our lockers with bags over their shoulders. Girls awed and admire them as they walk passed them.
"Stop tryna impress girls will ya ? It disgust me" I said to Butch.
"Jealous that the attention is towards me now instead of you ?" Butch said as he drop his bag and grab my chin.
"You wish!"
"Stop flirting!" Momoko said as she slam her locker door and throw her bag over her shoulder.
"We're not flirting!" Both me and Butch yelled together.
I slam Butch's hand from my chin, turn back to my locker, & continue clearing it.
"I'm done ! Hurry up Kaoru !!" Miyako asking me to speed up.
I groan and quickly shoved my books and worksheets into my bag and slam the locker.
"Let's go!" Momoko said.

I showed my parents my results, typical expression; disappointed, encouraging me to do better next time. I shrug it off and scroll through my phone. A caller I.D was shown, it was Miyako.
I answered.
"Yo what's up?!"
"Kaoru-chan, do you remember the time i mentioned about having a sleepover at my house with the guys ?"
"Ugh ! Seriously, why must the guys come over.." I complained.
"Hey! I can hear you Kaoru, that's rude " Butch interrupted.
"I don't care, and why are you even in the call ?!"
"Miyako called all of us, bakaaa!" Butch made fun.
"Shut up! So when will this happened ?" I asked.
"Tomorrow"
My eyes widen, i sighed.
"For fucks sake, alright i'll see yall tomorrow.." I ended the call.
I threw my phone and went downstairs to ask my parents for permission.
"Yo Mom, Dad. You guys don't mind if i chill at my friends' place during the hols right ?"
"Go ahead dear, have fun with your friends okay. If there is anything you need, give us a call okay." My Mom replied with her sweet voice as she look towards Dad passionately.
I quickly ran back upstairs and started packing my clothes. I cramp it into a big gym bag and throw it next to my study table.
I didn't need that much clothes anyways so i decided to wear what i usually would wear and obviously, my pyjamas. I received a text from Miyako.
A message from babybluemiyako.
hey kaoru, don't forget to bring your swimsuit. We're gonna have a beach day tgt !!
My eyes twitch. I drop my phone and violently shook my head in frustration.
"Well i outta -" Before i could cuss, my brother, Dai entered the room.
"You're going for a sleepover with your friends, huh?"
"Yes, and could you please not barge in my room like that!"
"Chill Kaoru, just becareful during the sleepover kay ? Don't do anything stupid ?!" He said, with his eyes wide open, staring into my soul.
I gulp and shook my head. He walked out of my room and slam the door. I face palm.
'Well, i outta get some sleep. This gonna be a pain in the ass..'
