Momoko's POV
"Tadaimaa~" I got back from school, carrying all the bags of presents that i got from my classmates.
"Oh wow, there's a lot of presents you got there!" Mom said as she saw me walked in.
"Yeah my classmates got em' for me, i'm really thankful for this. It's really unexpected..." I said, curious on who was the mastermind behind all this.
I drag the bags up to my room and placed them beside my study table. I jumped onto my bed and sighed in relieve. Sure is heavy to drag all of those home.
"Momoko, someone is at door !" my Mom shouted from downstairs.
I sighed and got up from bed. Can't i just rest already ? Gosh.
I went to the door and saw Miyako in a nice babyblue shirt and white ruffled skirt, looking adorable and fashionable.
"Hey, Momo ! Sorry i didn't get to see you for the whole day of school. I wanted to repay back and bring you to dinner. Treats on me !" Miyako said, smiling like a small child.
"Um, sure.. Come in." I gestured Miyako to come in.
I brought her to the livingroom and she settled down.
"I'll go and get ready.."
Miyako nod and i quickly went up the stairs, to my room. I took a shower and got change into something simple yet classy. I went down and told my Mom that Miyako is going to bring me out for dinner.
"Let's go Miya!" I gestured Miyako.
Miyako got up and straightened her skirt. She wore her sandals and got out from the house. I wore my pink converse, took the housekey and lock the door.
Miyako's POV
I sat down at the sofa and took out my phone to check on the rest. So far, so good. No complains, No mess-ups. Perfect.
I put my phone away and waited for Momoko to get ready. 20 minutes later, she went down and gestured me to get out from the house.
"So, why the sudden dinner thingie ?" Momoko questioned as she locked the door.
"I've already told you, i didn't see you the whole day in school today so figures i want to repay you because it's a special day for you." I coverlined.
"I see.. so where are you taking me?"
"Somewhere special to the heart..." I answered as i took out a blindfold from my purse and wrap around Momoko's eyes.
"Eek.." Momoko shriek.
"Don't worry, you'll be save. No falling !" I ensured her as i took her hand and carefully guide her to the park.
'Plan B is on the go !'
Brick's POV
Second operation is on the go and i've already collected the custom heart-shaped balloons that Miyako had ordered. I swear the effort she put in just for her friends' birthday, just amazes me. I arrived at the park and went to the designated location that Miyako had picked.
My jaw drop as the place Miyako picked was amazing. It's a sheltered area, the place is so spacious and we could clearly see the sun setting slowly and it creates such an amazing and romantic atmosphere. Perfect for Momoko's style.
"Yo i got the balloons! "
"About time ! Hurry and put them all around the place, Miyako already picked up Momoko from her place. They might be here any minute!!" Kaoru demanded.
Without wasting any time, i quickly let go the balloons at each corner of the shelter area, pink and silver heart-shaped patterns all around the area and it went well with the banner that Kaoru had hung. Boomer and Butch already organised the food at the corner, near the barbecue area so it's easier to cook.
After being pleased with the decoration and set up, i saw Momozono approaching us. Momozono arrived with a bunch of roses in her hand. She handed the roses to me and said specifically to give it to Miyako, and she hid the rose i ordered for Momoko quite well. I thanked her and she quickly left before Miyako and Momoko arrived.
"Guys, she's here !" Kaoru said, as she spot Momoko being blindfolded and following Miyako's trial.
Momoko's POV
I had no idea where Miyako is taking me. The route is very unfamiliar and definitely isn't the way that leads to the mall due to the rocky pavements. With Miyako's hands and her calming voice, guiding me, i'm sure i can trust her.
We stop moving. 'Have we arrive at the mall or somewhere special ?' I questioned myself.
"You ready for the surprise ?" Miyako asked.
I nod my head. Miyako took a step back and untie my blindfold. I couldn't believe my eyes. Everyone was there, Kaoru and the boys, with wide smiles on their faces, hoping that i will love the set up and surprise they've put up.
"This is wonderful..." I said, as i walked towards the beautiful balloons to touch them.
"Arigato..." I thanked them, as tears started rolling down my cheeks.
I was so grateful. The surprise, everything, was done so well. Miyako and Kaoru went over to hugged me and wiped my joyful tears away.
"Let's not cry now Momoko ! It's ya birthday !! Now let's eat, i'm starving !!" Kaoru said as her eyes were locked at the food.
I smile and wipe off the tears. Kaoru and Butch dragged me to a seat and Brick came, carrying a big cake. He placed it on the table and lit up the candles.
"Make a wish, princess..." He looked at me with those beautiful crimson eyes.
I put my hands together and close my eyes. I made my wish and blew the candles. At that moment, Miyako took a photo with her polaroid.
"What was that for ?" Kaoru asked.
"Since it's our last year together in high school, figures we should never miss to capture the beautiful moments we have with one another.."
I cut the cake into several slices and put them on a plate. I took a big slice and decided to sit on a bench where i could clearly see the sunset.
I sat down and heard someone shouting. I turn around and saw Butch and Kaoru fighting over the food at the barbecue area. I giggled, typical of the greens behaviour. I turn back and started eating my cake.
"Hey princess..." Brick giving me a new name.
I glance over at him as he sat beside me. He smile and gave me a red rose with side note on it.
"Red rose huh ?" I raised my eyebrows.
"Not following the meaning of giving a red rose to someone but i figured red suits you well.." He explained himself.
"I appreciate it Brick, thankyou..." I said.
The sun had already set, leaving behind orange rays that lit up the dusk sky. The stars and streetlights, brightened up the dark skies. By the park, under the shelther, 2 people staring into each others' eyes. Crimson red eyes met pink ones. The love slowly burning inside them.
"I'm proud of what you've done for them Miya..." Boomer said, seeing Momoko and Brick from afar.
"I hope this will become a memorable place for Momoko..." Miyako answered while snapping a photo of them.
