Chapter 10 - Worst Mistake

Kaoru's POV

After showing Butch what happened between Momoko and Brick, Butch suddenly turn his back on me and left. I was wondering why was he like that? Was he sad that i have to go home so fast? Urgh, this is why i hate love. Everything will never be perfect. But there's one thing to do and i'm sure after i do that, i'm gonna regret it for the rest of my life. I'm such a bad girl. Wait, i always have.

I kept my phone inside my pocket and tried to catch up with Butch. Boy, what's up with him? After i was right behind him, he turn his head to the side, his eye look directly at me, sharp as a hawk. He soon turn his head in front and continue walking, simply just ignoring me. I have no idea what to say about him and his childish play. Well whatever he's doing is very stupid. Soon we reached my house, it was big and it was what i've always wanted from my family. A big house so we all could have our own privacy especially my older brother, Dai.

He stopped in front of my door and raised his eyebrows. I stood in front of him and stare deep into his dark green emerald eyes.

'Come on Kaoru, you have to do this! Just for Butch to be happy..'

I took one step closer to Butch. Now his and my face were a few inches away. He looked at my lips like as if he wanted a taste of it. I could feel his hands wrapped around my waist. He bring me closer to him. I was blushing deep red. Butch smiled and kissed me on my forehead. He loosen his arms around my waist and let go.

I was stumped. I wanted to kiss him but he didn't want it.

"You know Kaoru, there's always another way to persuade me. The reason i didn't want to kiss you at your lips because i know you aren't ready. You know yourself. I'll see you tomorrow in school. Goodnight, Kaoru." Butch said.

Soon he left. I watched his shadowy figure disappeared into the darkness. I looked down at my feet. I was embarrassed to what Butch said. It's true, i don't know anything about love so i can't just do what i want to do. It was the worst mistake i ever want to do. I can't believe i wanted to kiss Butch when me, myself is not ready. I let out a huge sigh and went inside my house.

"Hello Kaoru dear! How's school today?" Mother said.

"Fine Mom..." I replied.

"Something wrong dear?" Mother said.

"No, i'm fine Mom..." I lied.

"Kaoru dear, i always know that face anywhere. You're experiencing something new, am i right sweetie?" Mother said.

"Ummm, maybe Mom..." I said.

"Is it about a guy in school?"Mother asked.

"Yeah. This guy just got transferred to our school and i'm suppose to be his buddy but he treats me more than than. Is like he protects me. After soccer practice today, Mike disturbed me again. I could kick him in the ass but if one more trouble from me, i could get expelled. The new guy came and kick Mike's ass for me. He told me that he will protect me like his own sister after that he kissed on the forehead. We hangout today at the new shopping mall. He sent me home but he look upset that i have to go home. I wanted to do something stupid like kissing him but he stopped me. I know i'm not open to any love yet but what he said was true..." I explained to Mother.

"What did he said?" Mother asked.

"He told me he didn't want to kiss me at the lips because he knew i wasn't ready and i ktnow it myself i will regret it in the future if i do thinks without thinking.." I said.

"Hmmm, who is this new guy?" Mother asked.

"His name is Butch, a member from the rowdyruff boys...."

"You don't say you like a villian?!" Mother shrieked.

"I'm not sure yet Mom... but he looks nice in his normal form but why does he looks so evil when his in... urgh i don't want to talk about it. I'm gonna get a shower. See ya, Mom!" I said.

"Ok Kaoru but don't forget to eat your dinner!" Mom shouted.

"Okay!" I shouted back.
