Momoko's POV
Just as i wanted to head home, something came up. The professor and Ken wanted to meet us at the lab to talk about some serious issue. 15 minutes later, i reached the lab and went to the living room area and saw Miyako and Kaoru.
"Take a sit Momoko.." A voice appeared out of nowhere. I shrug and sat down beside the girls.
" I'm sorry to call you girls in during your school period but i have something to share with you guys.." Ken said while walking towards us with a clipboard on his hand and a pen which is place on top of his ear.
" Where's the Professor ? Is he aware of this ?" Miyako asked Ken.
" The Professor is well aware of this since i first showed him about this interesting encounter but unfortunately, he left me here to do the explanation to you guys so you're aware of the encounter that both me and my dad discovered.." Ken said.
" Well, go on. We're listening..." I said, signalling Ken to continue.
" Right... Well if you recall a few months back when there was a robbery and vandalism that happened downtown and no one is aware of who was the one that caused this scene ? Well i gathered all the data and Poochi observed that there were black z rays activities that took place there but none of the black z rays actually represents in one of the DNA of the frequent villains that you girls encountered which worries me alot..." Ken explain.
" Yaknow, it maybe a sign that Him is back..." Poochi suggested.
" Or maybe the Rowdyruff Boys are back..." I mumbled.
" You said something Momoko?" Ken asked.
" Huh? Oh, i was thinking whether this is a lead that maybe it's not Him that has return but maybe the Rowdyruff Boys ?" I suggested.
" Yeah ! It can be them because we were going to inform you and the professor about what happened in school but it's totally crazy! There are 3 new students who just got transferred into senior year and they really look like the exact team rowdy but they are slightly more mature i supposed because if i recall when we were fighting against Mojo, we were at least 15 years old and the rowdies were like 12 years old ? Which doesn't make sense at all !" Kaoru stated.
" It's true, we aren't really that sure because if they were the Rowdyruff Boys, people in our school would have already noticed and especially if they used their real names in school. But no one is suspicious about them and we're starting to get confused. We fought them 2 years ago. Now we're 17 and they're actually the same age as us or maybe even a year older ?! So, we couldn't confirm yet whether they really are the Rowdyruff Boys or just normal students who coincidentally have the same name as Rowdies.." Bubbles add on.
" Heh, there is no such thing as coincidence in the world but maybe a change of fate..." Poochi said.
" You're right, the Rowdyruff Boys have black z rays in them cause Him gave it and with the mixture of each of your DNA that Mojo picked up from a straw, ear stick and socks, it is possible for the rowdies to develop and be much more of an older person. " Ken interpreted.
" You mean they could just change their appearance anytime like as if they're clones ?!" I said with a shocking tone.
" Um they're not clones or shapeshifters but they can age more rapidly up till 18 years old because of having your DNA's in their body. More likely to mature faster because they have a girls' DNA but what helps them to stabilize their growth and maturity is the black z rays. But if you were to remove the black z rays from them, they will still be 18 years old as they've reached their limit in fast growth. This is actually an interesting exploration..." Ken explained.
" Okay nerd geek we get it, but how can we really confirm whether they really are the rowdyruff boys or not ?" Kaoru asked.
" Simple, every person will leave a small mistake or hints that can merely expose themselves so think carefully of the events that happened in school or between one another?" Ken said.
" Well, there was one time when me and Boomer decided to go out and shop for some clothes to get inspiration and also to generate ideas for my fashion line but we decided to grab coffee for energy booster, when the cashier asked what he wanted to write on his cup, he said, 'explosive boomer' but maybe it's nothing because his chat name is called 'explosive boomer' too.." Miyako pointed out.
" That may or may not be a lead but all i know is that we could confirm that the Rowdyruff Boys are back and if they're back, there is a slight chance that Him is around looking for dark and negative energy before he rise to control all the black z rays again. To avoid that, we must stop all the crime activities as fast as possible before it's too late.." Ken made it clear.
" Right so all we have to do now is keep a really close eye on the rowdies, maybe we will eventually have a lead or something. And if we do have something to really conclude this whole return of the RowdyRuff boys, we must be prepared to face them !" I said, with confidence.
" Yeah but you girls better be careful because in the process of you discovering secrets about them, you can merely expose yourselves towards them too. It's risky but try to not be obvious. Let's just hope everything will be fine even though they've return..." Ken spoke.
" *yawns* Geez, i'm beat from all the fighting with Sedusa, i'm gonna go home and take a nap before watching a soccer tournament later. See you girls soon ! " Kaoru got up and head out towards the door, waving us goodbye.
" I gotta go too ! My grandma needs help in preparing dinner later. Goodbye Momoko, see you later !" Miyako said, as she grab her stuff and leave.
I look towards Ken who was busy writing things on his clipboard. I sighed.
" Hey Ken, do you have something going on between you and my sister or are you just good friends ?" I asked.
Ken looked up and he immediately blushed. I raise my eyebrows and he shook his head, indicating no.
" Oh well, if you really do have something going on with my sister then i don't really bother besides i don't spend that much time with her so someone else has to do it.. I'll see you soon Ken ! And tell the Professor to take care of himself !! " I said and grab my stuff.
I head towards the exit and exited the lab. I went straight home and did all my assignments before eating dinner and shutting down to get some sleep.
