This acknowledgement is very important to me because this will be a reminder for those who became special parts of this story and of my life as well although I highly doubt I would ever forget them. Just to be safe, let's say, I got an amnesia (I hope not) or something unexpected, I want to guarantee there would be a time in the future where I could read back their names and remember those memories we shared and made.
A warm and heartful (and brainful) gratitude to the following:
First, of course, are my parents and siblings— my whole family. I don't know how it's like to have another family (come on, everyone thought about this once in our lives) but I believe I got the best one! Thank you mom and dad for the facilities, especially my phone, laptop, and for paying the monthly internet and electricity bills. I love you!!!
To my best friends who waited for me during lunch breaks in my entire highschool (I'm a slow eater) and those who were with me all through my ups and downs, no matter how long they stayed. Thank you for all the patience, stories, understanding, listening, and everything!
To Joseph and Toni, out of no where I didn't expect you two would become a big part of my senior year like this! Oh my, I will really miss shouting "Metanoia!" in school like Archimedes shouting "Eureka!"
To Angela, Asketh, Jared, Carl, Ken, Glen, Pilar, Angelo, Ellie, Kristelle, Jared, Jet, Jude G. Julian, Jacques, Jude S., Alyssa, Kristelle, Irish, Mariz, Alexa, Tricia, Reesha, Pax, Denz, Grace, Dani, Liza, Lolit, Gerald, Reyna, Dory and Gil. I hope I became part of your own stories because you did a good job in keeping mine so alive and meaningful in various and special aspects.
Extending my thanks to Mayday Parade and other bands and artists who inspired me alot through their videos and songs. I can't explain how you helped me finish this story.
And most importantly, to God! Thank you for the wisdom in writing and for helping me choose this path no matter how many torque I encounter, I always end up writing.
Lastly, to each and every torque that was and wasn't mentioned above, I want to say thank you from the deepest arteries of my heart.
Metanoia won't be made possible without each one of you!
Keep shimmering!
~S.PS: I'm considering a sequel when someday. :)
