Chapter 08:
ALL is not well, including him. He doesm't like be seen doing that cruel thing.
He was just used afterall.
So the deafening silence covered our room. Our minds and hearts resembles this room.
If a situation happens to pierced or made a crack in each one of it. The invisible protection here that seems to be the resemblance would be too.
Then in the middle of the silence covered room, a loud thud suddenly crack it.
It was Desmond, he punched the wall. And blood from his knuckles flows in the wall...
Blood? As in dugo? What the fuck, he's a ghost, right?
But then the blood suddenly disappeared as if the time moved backwards.
Oh, I thought this is his real body. But heck yeah, it's not. Señor Ybañez told me so, and this happens.
"Just shout, my ears could handle a high level of hertz," I said to him.
He's really frustrated right now, dati wala siyang kibo paghinihigop ng asul na apoy na galing sa kamay niya ang mga Señor. It's kinda new...
"Sorry," he suddenly uttered. "You shouldn't saw that but I..."
Well, all the orders of the devil are cruel, especially to him as he was used by the jerk to punish others that are trapped here.
Also, it might seem that his abilities to punish is not to the extent of turning of a Señor to a Tocono nor making the Tocono disappear which we don't know where its soul goes after. Everything is always a mystery, especially here.
But I knew that his powers to punish is not to that extent I mentioned as the way he said sorry. He said it as if it would happen again or might be worse .
"Don't be, it's not your fault," I said which made him look at me so I smiled.
"May I do something to you?"
"As long as is not inappropriate or else I'm going to kill you by---"
Hindi ko na natapos ang sasabihin ko nang bigla siyang naglakad palapit at yinakap ako, making me shock for a moment.
Ngumiwi ako, hindi ako sanay sa gan'to kahit kina Brylle at Kelly.
But I just returned his hug anyways, as I know he doesn't had this for a long time...
THE TIME here is utterly confusing. I feel very tired. Pero parang kaunting oras pa lamang ang lumipas. Hindi ko rin alam kung araw ba o gabi, mukhang araw lang palagi, walang gabi.
"Hey, tutulog muna ako," I suddenly said.
Agad naman niyang tiniklop ang librong binabasa niya at umalis sa higaan niya at tumabi sa 'kin. "Sleep there," he said.
I nodded. "Wait, may libro pala dito?" I asked looking at his hands where the book is.
"Mayro'n, mga naiwan ng mga nakulong dito, 'yung mga Señor," sagot niya naman.
Tumango-tango naman ako. "Eh, ano ba 'yang binabasa mo?" Tanong ko ulit.
"The Longest Day by Cornelius Ryan," he said and allowed me to look at the book cover.
"What is it about?" I asked... again.
"It's about how long the day was during the war, you know the start of the invasion of the Normandy," he answered quickly.
I nodded but suddenly think of something. "So that means we're in the war now?" I scoffed.
"Yeah," he chuckled at my remarks.
