hyunjin was in his office, looking at some pieces of art that he could buy, when his phone rang.
seeing that it was his friend who called him, he accepted up the call.
"hello?"

"hyunjin, my dude! how are you?"

"what do you need? I need to work."
hyunjin said, leaning against his chair.

"it's been so long since we have been out! me and the guys are going for some drinks later, I wanted to ask you if you wanted to join us? we miss you dude. it's Friday, we can drink as much as we want."

hyunjin sighed.
it was true that he haven't seen his friends for quite a while, and it could be nice to catch up.
but at the other hand, felix was in his house.
felix, the boy who he never stopped loving.
and he had to make the most of it, because he was well aware that in a few months, felix will leave, and he will never see him again.
"I'm sorry dude, I'm busy today."

"that's a shame. well, I hope that you can join us next time."

"yeah, me too. bye for now."
hyunjin hang up the phone with a sigh.

felix was very proud when he saw that the paste he put on the canvas worked exactly how he wanted.

"yo, felix, what do you want for lunch? I'm ordering."
jisung said, suddenly walking behind felix.

"I'm not really hungry. order yourself what you want tho."
felix said with a small smile.

"hell no, you will be hungry later, we still have to be here for many many hours."
jisung said.

"it's really okay. when I work, I only concentrate on the painting, so I don't even think about food."
felix said, turning back to the painting.

"but lix you have to eat something."
jisung whined.
"how about I ordered you something and you can eat it later when you will actually be hungry?"

felix sighed.
"you're not going to stop right?"

"no."
jisung said proudly.

"order me some salad."
felix said.

"amazing."
jisung said, walking away with little jumps.

felix shook his head.
"aish, what a kid."
he chuckled, before taking a wipe and getting rid of the paste.

hyunjin unlocked the door of the house, opening it and walking inside, felix right behind him.

taking out his shoes, hyunjin walked further inside the house.
"finally home."
he sighed, putting his keys on the table.

"you're acting like you hate your gallery."
felix chuckled, taking off his shoes as well, before walking inside to hyunjin.

"you know that im just a very lazy person who enjoys rotting away on the couch."
hyunjin said with a small smile, going into the kitchen and filling up a glass with water, drinking it in one go.

"im gonna go into my atelier. if you needed something I will be there."
hyunjin said, walking upstairs to probably change his clothes.

felix nodded, taking his bag and putting it on the ground next to the table. he was going to need it today.

something that he had to do was reports. he had to write down what he did to the painting, which products he used and in what order, and what day did he do that. it was for a specific reason. if something went wrong with the painting, or with the repair, chan could look at the report and see where the mistake was made.

of course that normal art repairer would write down what he did the day he actually did it, but felix was very lazy. he also had an amazing memory, so he was doing his reports for the entire process every few days to weeks, to even months. it depended.
one time he actually wrote down the entire report in an airplane on his way back to Korea, after finishing the repairs.

and today, he actually decided to finally write down everything he did in the past month.

so after he went upstairs and changed his clothes, felix walked back down in his oversized shirt and some shorts, sitting down on a chair and taking the papers from his bag, putting on his glasses and starting to write.

hyunjin held the brush lightly, but tightly enough to have 100% control over it. his hand didn't even shake, as he stared mixing the beautiful colors.

to be honest, art was always super therapeutic for him. ever since he was young. and he was more then grateful that he could be surrounded by art every single day of his life. he worked super hard for it, and he wouldn't trade it for his life.

he didn't even realize he has been there for an hour already. his stomach started making noises, and he finally felt how hungry he was.

hyunjin made his way out of the atelier, seeing felix sitting by the table, glasses on his face, papers surrounding him.

"what are you doing?"
hyunjin asked.

"reports, i was too lazy to do them before so im doing them now."
felix said without looking at hyunjin.

"I'm gonna order us dinner, we don't have anything here, I will go buy groceries. what do you want?"
hyunjin asked, taking out his phone.

"I don't want anything. I have to finish all of this, and it's gonna take a while. I have too much work. I will go to sleep right after I finish with the last one."
felix said.

"that's not healthy felix. you have to eat something. especially when you're working the entire day."
hyunjin said.

"I'm okay, really. if I will be hungry I will just take an apple or something."
felix said, finally looking at hyunjin.
"so order something for yourself, whatever you want."

hyunjin sighed.
he didn't like this, but he couldn't force felix, so he just decided to let it go and ordered some food for himself, before walking back into his atelier, looking back at felix as he did so with a worried look, before disappearing behind the huge door.
