an awkward, tensed silence was in the car as hyunjin and felix drove home from the gallery. they hadn't said anything to each other since this morning.

felix was staring out of the window, trying his hardest not to look at hyunjin. meanwhile hyunjin was gripping the steering wheel much more tensely than necessary, looking straight in front of him.

they both knew, and very much remembered what happened last night. they were hella drunk, but still, it happened.
and all of their progress they made was gone, because now, they hadn't even looked at each other.

just as hyunjin unlocked the door and walked inside, felix slipped past him and immediately went upstairs. hyunjin could hear door open and close.

he sighed, taking off his coat and making his way into the kitchen, taking a glass and filling it up with water, turning around and leaning against the counter, slowly drinking it.

his eyes went to the couch, sighing as he remembered yesterday's night, and today's morning.

hyunjin woke up, his head pounding.
he really drinked a lot of wine.

opening his eyes, he was shocked when he realized he was laying on the couch, naked, a blonde boy laying on top of him, also naked, still in deep sleep.

his heartbeat quickened as he remembered what happened yesterday.

"fuck, fuck, fuck."
hyunjin whispered to himself, slowly panicking.

what the hell should he do now?
should he just try and move felix into his bedroom so he would think it was just a dream?
or should he just wake him up so they could talk about it?

but before hyunjin could actually do something, the younger laying on top of him whined, his eyes slowly fluttering open. hyunjin immediately closed his eyes, pretending he was still asleep.

it took a while for felix to figure out in what situation he just woke up in.

"shit."
felix immediately started panicking.
"shit, shit, shit."

he slowly got off of hyunjin, trying to not 'wake' him up, before he picked up his clothes from the floor, quickly making his way upstairs, swearing the entire time.

after hyunjin heard a shower starting upstairs, he opened his eyes, letting out a deep sigh.
what the fuck will happen now?

•~•

closing his eyes, hyunjin tilted his head back.
he himself didn't mind, nor regret the night they shared. but that was because he, in fact, was still in love with felix. but he knew sure as hell that the younger regretted every single second.
he made it pretty obvious he no longer holds any feelings for hyunjin.

with a sigh, he went to the fridge, opening it, frowning when he noticed they were out of groceries.

"shit that's right, I wanted to go to the store today."
hyunjin frowned, sad and frustrated that he forgot about his plan.

closing the empty fridge, he took out his phone, deciding that ordering the dinner was the only option here. not that he minded in particular tho.

going trough the restaurants, he felt satisfied when he found a meal he surely had the appetite for, ready to order it.
until he remembered that there was a blonde boy upstairs, who also needed dinner.

nervous and unsure, hyunjin made his way upstairs, trying to be as quiet as possible. he stood in front of felix's room, not sure what to do.

I mean, he knew what he was supposed to do. he came here to ask what the younger wanted for dinner. he raised his hand up, ready to knock on the door, but he just couldn't bring himself to do it. he remembered how felix usually ate. he would eat not even a half of his food for dinner, and then he would eat fruits that hyunjin had in his fruit basket later.
so hyunjin decided to go back downstairs, ordering his food, glad to see that the fruit basket still had enough fruits in it.

when his dinner arrived, hyunjin ate it in silence. before felix came, he was used to eating alone, but now, it just felt empty. too empty for his liking.

he put the deliberately left food on the kitchen counter, before looking at the TV. usually, he likes to sit down and watch some movie that was being played, but he decided to go upstairs, because he knew for sure felix wouldn't come down if he was here. so this time, he made his way upstairs, trying to be as loud as possible without being too obvious. he closed the door of his room, letting out a huge sigh.

•~•

felix was in his bed, laying down, trying to fall asleep with an empty stomach, when he heard that hyunjin went into his room.

taking the opportunity, felix quietly opened the door of his room, making his way downstairs, happy he was finally able to eat some delicious fruits.

walking into the kitchen, he took an apple laying in the fruit basket, happily taking a bite, before noticing something on the kitchen counter. he walked closer, noticing a plate with take out on it, a sticky note next to it.

eat it if you're hungry.
- hyunjin

felix sighed, looking at the plate with sad eyes.
he felt bad for hyunjin.

"I haven't stopped thinking about you ever since you left. I did everything so I would just forget, but I can't. because even after everything, I am still in love with you."

he closed his eyes, before taking the plate into his hands, eating the leftovers while standing, his head full of thoughts.

"because no matter what you do, no matter how much you hurt me...i could never hate you, lix. you have a special place in my heart. yo always had, and you always will have. I'm forever yours."

"how could you even say that after everything?"
felix whispered to himself, guilt eating him alive.

he did a terrible thing to hyunjin three years ago, something he was never able to truly forgive himself for, and hyunjin...hyunjin didn't hate him. he couldn't understand why.

finishing his food, felix put the plate and the silverware into the dishwasher, before taking the apple he already bit into, making his way upstairs.
