"oh my god, felix!"
jisung hugged the boy right after he stepped a foot into the storage room.
"I was so worried! where have you been?"felix awkwardly hugged him back.
"I was just...staying with a friend.""we were all worried about you."
jisung pulled away, keeping his hands on Felix's shoulders.
"by all I mean me and hyunjin."felix snorted.
"yeah, I figured.""well, the most important thing is that you're safe and okay."
jisung said.
"and also that you're back. I was getting a bit bored being here all alone."felix smiled.
"yeah, I missed it here too. I can finally work on the painting again.""I was looking at it, don't worry, like I said, LOOKING, not touching, but you made a huge progress."
jisung said, looking at the painting laying on the table.
"I honestly didn't believe it could ever be fixed again, but you proved me wrong.""it did take a lot of work and most importantly patience tho."
felix said.
"besides it's not finished yet, i still have the most challenging parts in front of me.""wait, really?"
jisung asked."mhm."
felix nodded.
"I need to stitch the canvas up in a way so it won't be visible, and repair the color. that's always the most difficult part.""ohh."
jisung nodded in understanding.
"well, I hope everything will go smoothly. I found this amazing restaurant just few blocks from here, wanna go there for lunch with me later?"felix gave him a small smile.
"should we?"•~•
felix took his things and made his way out of the storage room, walking towards the exit, his heart beating fast when he saw hyunjin waiting for him, leaning against his car.
when hyunjin finally noticed felix, he smiled, walking towards him and taking his hand.
"hello."
he said, before kissing the top of felix's hand.
"you look beautiful."felix blinked a few times, feeling too shy to speak.
hyunjin chuckled, before leading felix towards the car, opening the door of the passenger seat for him.
"thank you."
felix said with a small smile, before getting into the car, hyunjin closing the door behind him."so, have you figured out where you would like to go?"
hyunjin asked when he sat in the drivers seat."mhm."
felix nodded.
"han brought me lunch from this restaurant like a month ago. it was very good, and they have a lot of choices when it comes to their food.""sounds amazing."
hyunjin said.
"can you put it in the navigation?""mhm."
felix hummed, and just moments later, the pair was on their way to the restaurant.after eating their food, while having a small talk full of chuckles, the two of them agreed that they didn't want this night to end yet, so they decided to get a coffee in a cute close by coffee shop, and as they walked around, they felt tired, so they sat down on a bench and drank their coffees there.
"if you don't mind me asking."
hyunjin started, his tone a little unsure.
"how was the treatment?"felix leaned against the bench, taking a sip from his coffee, before speaking.
"well, I was in the hospital for a year, full time. a lot of chemo, and a psychiatrist to help me process everything. the diagnosis, the treatment, my decision about leaving Korea...everything."
he said, before looking at hyunjin.
"like I said, I studied online college from there because I couldn't go to a normal one.""how did that even work?"
hyunjin asked."simple. when it was an easy lectures, the teacher would send me all of the material, I would learn about it, and then write tests like everyone. but this school I studied had this special person, and that was a teacher that would drive to students that couldn't physically be there to study the techniques."
felix said.
"he would come twice a week I think, sometimes only once, and he would show me how to properly remove a paint, restore the paint, stitch the canvas, and when he would leave, he would give me some cut canvas that I needed to stitch before our next encounter, or canvas with paint that I needed to remove, and so on.""wow."
hyunjin said.
"it must have been hard.""well, I did have it a bit harder then normal students yes, because repairing art is mostly about the techniques that I couldn't be present to learn."
felix nodded.
"but at the same time, I did graduate, so everything is possible. I chose this school specifically because of how you could study it even tho you're not physically present."hyunjin looked at felix with loving eyes.
"I'm proud of you, lix."
he said.
"seriously. you went trough so much, and you had to work hard for what you have today. you are so strong."felix looked away.
"stop looking at me like that.""like what?"
hyunjin asked."like I was your entire world."
felix said."I never stopped loving you Felix, I thought I made myself clear enough."
hyunjin chuckled slightly, before looking in front of him.for a few seconds, there was a silence, before hyunjin broke it.
"have you ever thought about me during those three years?"felix sighed.
"of course I did. I didn't leave you because I stopped loving you, and feelings can't just disappear overnight.""do you...still have some feelings for me?"
hyunjin asked, looking at felix.felix looked down.
"it's...complicated."
he said.
"all of my feelings are over the place, and I don't know how to feel."hyunjin took Felix's hand, making Felix look at him.
"how about we figured out those feelings together?"
he said, his eyes meeting Felix's.
"I know that everything is moving so fast, but I was always honest with you about my feelings. if I made you mine once, I think I can make you fall in love with me again for the second time."felix snorted, a smile on his face.
"a little too confident, aren't we?""oh you have no idea."
hyunjin said, before gently pulling felix closer and connecting their lips.
