For those who don't like how i did judah and india story sorry i can't say too much on that right now. I don't know i just wanted to switch it up. Plus i know some of yall was looking for a happy ending, but i wasn't ready for that just yet🥲...some wanted them together while others obviously didn't so yea🌚. But the show not over just yet. I plan on doing another book..... i just didn't feel like writing all them damn chapters for one book😐. So hold up, take a little chill pill and just sit back and ride please😂😅. Blowing out a frustrated breath, I went into the kitchen cabinets where I kept the bowls.
Grabbing a big enough sized bowl I went and placed it on the counter where the leak was coming from in my ceiling.
It was going on two days since the leak started, and I was fed up.
The weird part is that it didn't even rain this week, so where this leak came from I don't even know.
Snatching my phone off the counter, I quickly called the number my daddy gave me the other day.
After three rings, a woman picked up the phone.
"Hi, I'm Brittany and this is Thomas & Co. How may I help you?"
"Hi, my names India Groves, I'm calling because I have a leak in my kitchen ceiling. I wanted to see how much it would cost, and how soon can I get it fixed"
I bit my lip as I waited for a response that I wanted to hear.
"Okay no problem ma'am! I can have somebody come and fix that leak for you right now matter of fact!"
Smiling at her response, I quickly nodded my head like she could see me.
"Yes please that would be perfect, thank you so much" I did a little dance.
"Of course ma'am, now for the cost and payment. The contractor will take a look at the leak and give you the estimated cost for the leak. Once he's done that, he will log it into our system and you will be able to pay either in cash or through Zelle. Either one is fine" she informed me.
"Andddd that should be all. If you could just tell me you address and info, i'll have Mr.Thomas heading that way shortly"
Gleefully giving her my information, we said our goodbyes and hung up.
Letting out a sigh of relief, I looked across the room to see Parris on her tablet while PJ Mask played on the tv.
"You okay over there toot?" I called out to her.
"Yes I fine mommy"
A smile spread across my face when I heard her response.
One thing I will never regret about how my life turned out, is having my daughter and being her mommy.
