Taking me with it (An Ed Sheeran FanFic)

Chapter Nine: Allie, She's gone.

Aubrey and I have never fought before, well at least as bad as this. Usually it was over stupid things. Not this time. This time it was serious. 

"Sierra, I don't want to make it through this. He HIT me." I'm trembling like crazy. She wraps an arm around my shoulder and we walk down the stairs to the kitchen table, and she begins to make coffee. 

"Allie, you're just saying that. You know that in awhile you're going to miss him. You two have been together for so long." She calmly states. Just like Sierra to stay neutral. 

"People break up for the last time, all the time. Just like right now. I'm done with him. I won't deal with someone who will hit a girl. If i take him back, it shows that he can do it again and that I would still take him back. I have to be done. Maybe be single for awhile." I state as she hands me a cup of coffee. 

I add cream and sugar, then take a sip, the coffee burning my bruised lips. I set the cup down and the tears start falling again. 

Sierra comes and sits next to me, unsure what to do. 

"Sierra. I... just... want to fall asleep. Forget it all. I just... want my mom." I sob.

"Allie.. She... she's gone." Sierra whispers. 

"I know. And that's what all sucks. I cant even.. I.." All of a sudden my phone pings, alerting me of a message.

I'm sorry Allie! I just thought that I wasn't good enough for you. That's why you were so upset. I wanted my coming home from university to be perfect, I wanted you. I still do. Allie, what I did wasn't right. I'm so sorry, Love. Take me back? Forever yours, Aubrey

"What's it say?" Sierra asks as I snap my phone shut. 

"Nothing." I say, knowing that she'll get it out of me.

"Allie..."

"Look, I have to get ready for work. After work, I'm going to see if Ed wants to go out. I'll see you at work." I say, as go up the stairs, leaving Sierra.

"Good night everybody! Thanks for the amazing show!" Ed screams out into the crowd. I stare at him, willing myself to ask him. I feel eyes on my back, and I turn to see Aubrey sitting at the bar watching me. I shake my head and turn back towards Ed. 

My body watches each and everyway he moves, as he slides off the stage. I creep over. I stayed after work, so I could ask him to go to the club that was just down the street. I shake off my nervousness and walk over to him.

"Hey Allie!" He says excitedly. 

"Hey Ed! Amazing job tonight! You really bring in the crowd!" I say as I flash a wide smile. He starts turning pink and smiles back at me. I hug him, holding him tightly. 

"I was uh," I feel the nervousness trickling through my veins, "wondering if you.. wanted to.. go.."

Ed stiffens and releases me from the hug, and searches my eyes, and as if it was in slow motion, I watch as his eyes ghost over my bruises. His face goes from excited, to shock, to sad all within a few seconds. 

And in that moment, I know I can't ask him to go to the club. He will want to know what happened. His eyes are still searching mine for a sign of what had happened.

"Go where Allie?" His voice says full of concern.

"To..," I think quickly, "The coffee shoppe. Get some tea, sit down, talk, eat scones. would you like that?" I ask.

"Yeah Allie. Just let me pack up." He says quickly, all he has to do is throw his guitar in its case and put it across his body. In his arms, is a sweatshirt, which he holds out to me.

"All you're wearing is a thin t shirt, take this." He says carefully and helps me put it on. I breathe in deeply and can smell the faint scent of smoke, sweat, and cologne, and mixed all together, makes the perfect scent. 

I take a deep breath, slip my hand in Eds, and out we go to walk to the Coffee Shoppe.

AUTHORS NOTE:

Sorry for abandoning this for so long. I had no idea where this story was going, and my life was getting hectic. Some major things will be happening soon, and TRUST me, this whole story is not going to be a love triangle between Ed, Aubrey, and Allie. 

For those of you who dont get that the first chapter, to the second (and the rest.) The first chapter is in the present, and the rest is a flashback. Allie and Ed DID end up together, obviously, as of now, but there is a whole reason as to why Allie is having these flash backs. (You won't find that out until the last chapter.) So these chapters, is Allie and Ed's story. 

Try to remember that this is all a flashback :) I want this story to be around 40 to 50 chapters, so I will try to write long chapters, and update once every week or so :)
