As the suite descended into an uneasy silence with Dino, Seungkwan and Sunoo snoring peacefully in their pillow fort and Vernon sleeping outside guarding the fort, Jisoo finally let out a relieved sigh, leaning back against Seokmin. “Finally, some peace.”

But peace was short-lived.

A loud, authoritative knock echoed through the room. Jisoo’s eyes widened in panic. “No. Absolutely not. I’m pretending we’re asleep.”

Seokmin chuckled, already making his way to the door. “You know that won’t work.”

He opened the door to reveal Jihoon and Soonyoung, both looking half-annoyed and half-amused. Behind them stood Jeonghan, with Soobin cradled in one arm, and a glare so sharp it could cut diamonds.

Jihoon was the first to speak, crossing his arms. “What’s this I hear about you two stealing my kids for a sleepover without consulting me?”

Before Jisoo could respond, Jeonghan stepped forward, his voice icy. “Forget that. Explain to me how you had the audacity to have a children’s sleepover and leave out my son.” He raised Soobin slightly for emphasis. “You think Soobin wouldn’t want to join in?”

Jisoo, now fully cornered, threw his hands up in exasperation. “He’s a baby! What is he supposed to do at a sleepover? Build a pillow fort? Tell ghost stories?”

“Don’t underestimate my son,” Jeonghan snapped. “Soobin is perfectly capable of participating. And besides, you left him out. Do you know how offended he’ll be when he grows up and finds out?”

Soonyoung, ever the chaos instigator, waltzed into the room with a grin. “I think it’s only fair to include him. A sleepover isn’t a sleepover without a baby. They’re the main attraction!”

Jihoon groaned, pinching the bridge of his nose. “For heaven’s sake, it’s the middle of the night. Just give me Dino and Sunoo so I can drag them home before they destroy more of this hotel.”

“No!” Dino suddenly woke up, clinging to the blanket like a life preserver. “We want to stay with Soo!”

“Yeah!” Sunoo popped his head out of the pillow fort. “This is our sleepover now!”

Jihoon glared at Jisoo, who was now glaring at Seokmin as if this were somehow his fault. “Fix this,” Jihoon hissed.

But before anyone could react, Jeonghan swooped in, placing Soobin directly into Jisoo’s lap. “Here. Now it’s a real sleepover.”

Jisoo stared down at the squirming baby, horrified. “What am I supposed to do with him?”

“Figure it out,” Jeonghan said with a sweet but terrifying smile. “You’re the host now.”

Soonyoung, seeing an opportunity, grabbed a nearby pillow and threw it into the fort. “We’re expanding! Soobin gets his own wing!”

Jihoon turned to Seokmin with a pleading look. “Please tell me you have some control over this.”

Seokmin just laughed, clearly enjoying the chaos. “Not a chance.”

By now, Vernon had woken up, blinking at the crowd in confusion. “Why are there more people here?”

“Because the adults has no sense of boundaries,” Jisoo snapped, handing Soobin off to Seungkwan, who looked just as panicked. “Here. You deal with this.”

“I’m not a babysitter!” Seungkwan protested, though he still held Soobin like he was made of glass. “Vernon, help me!”

“Pass,” Vernon replied, lying back down. “This isn’t my jurisdiction.”

Jeonghan, unimpressed, rolled his eyes and scooped Soobin back up. “Fine. I’ll handle him. But don’t think for a second I’m letting you off the hook for this, Jisoo.”

As Jeonghan settled Soobin into the expanding pillow fort, Jihoon attempted one last negotiation. “Dino, Sunoo, if you come home now, I’ll let you stay up late tomorrow and watch that ridiculous alien movie you like.”

“No deal!” Dino shot back, crossing his arms. “We’re staying here with Uncle Soo and Minnie!”

Jihoon groaned, turning to Soonyoung. “Aren’t you supposed to be the fun parent? Do something.”

“I think this is great,” Soonyoung said cheerfully, lying down next to the pillow fort. “The more, the merrier!”

“That’s it. I’m done,” Jihoon declared, throwing his hands up in defeat. “I’m leaving. Deal with them yourselves.”

“Wait!” Jisoo called after him. “You can’t leave me with all of this!”

Jihoon didn’t even turn around. “Consider it your wedding gift.”

As Jihoon stormed out, Soobin giggled, Soonyoung started telling a wildly exaggerated ghost story, and Seungkwan bickered with Vernon about who was worse at handling kids. Jisoo buried his face in his hands, muttering to himself.

“Best. Wedding. Ever,” Seokmin teased, pulling Jisoo into a hug.

Jisoo groaned but couldn’t hide the small smile creeping onto his face. .
