Nick's POV
When the doctor called me in his cabin I was taken aback for the moment the stress was building up and I didn't knew what future was coming with all I hoped that Shashank is healthy.
The doctor entered the cabin with me behind him
'Please take seat Mr.Nick' . Yup I said pulling the chair behind so I can sit "So you called me what is it about?" I asked him . 'Look Nick we are trying our best to help him recover from this incident and from the cancer but clearly there hasn't been any sign of improvement. The fibula bone of his has been badly damaged and it's not showing any good signs of recovery from the surgery we did'. He showed me the X-ray they did this morning only
"Doctor the surgery you did didn't help at all and what about the chemotherapy?" . 'The surgery did help to preserve the bone that was not affected by the cancer but the fact that cancer kept on spreading on the bones surround near fibula causing the cancer cells to speed up the growth in multiple times '. "So you're telling me that there no other option that is possible to save him from the cancer?" . 'See it's not like that we can't save him but what I'm tryna say is two major treatments we had done to him but they are working for him and the other option left is Gene Therapy where you know we can replicate the cancer causing genes by normal one The chance are that maybe it can slow down the rapid growing cells but fully stopping them wouldn't be an possibility'.
"Oh ok I'll talk to him about this and we'll get back to it and is there anything else you have to say Doctor". 'Right now that's it Nick let's see what this holds for him'. "Yea thanks doctor I'll get going" I said taking my leave .
