Author's Note: This is it, the final part to this wonderful story. I am so happy and excited to move on to the next part of this process, editing! This story will be undergoing some changes, but the core of it will remain the same. I am so incredibly astounded I managed to reach 90K words in total! I blew past my 70K goal and just kept going.
Part of that was due to the support I was shown by this wonderful community of writers and readers. I couldn't be happier with the friends I've made in this corner of the internet. You guys have bee so supportive and sweet, and it really has made all the difference. I don't know that I would have finished this story had I not had y'all in my corner, cheering me on, telling me how much you loved this story.
In many ways, this story is for all of you. My goal was to give anyone who read it the entertainment and joy they were searching for when they chose to pick up my story and read it. I can't believe that I've had the amount of love and support I have up until this point, and it seems to only be growing over time. I really hope I can live up to everyone's expectations as a writer in this, and all future endeavors.
For the final time, Much love from yours truly. <3

The next morning, I felt more rested than I had for a long while. Victor was up long before I was, and I'm sure he was locked away in his study, preparing for the Council meeting that was scheduled for the coming week. Even with the chaos that housing the Council presented, I couldn't help but feel triumphant.
Amelia helped me change into my favorite grey dress. I was meeting with Genevieve for morning tea, with the promise that Victor may find the time to join us. "Would you stay with us this morning?" I asked Amelia. "I'm sure Genevieve wants to talk to you too." She smiled broadly and nodded.
"It would be nice to talk with Mme. Archambeau. I fear she had to go through quite the trouble to buy us the time we needed." Amelia said, tying my hair up on my head in a great loop. I also had chosen to wear the pearl necklace Victor had given me, which felt like it had happened an age ago. The mark on my chest from the brick had yet to fade, a reminder of how close we had all come from certain destruction.
