The Day after the first Invasion of Soul Society.

The first day of (F/N), Isshin and Ryuken creating their counter to Yhwach was a dud. (F/N) was currently in his house going through all of their failed attempts, trying to find the issue to their problem.

(F/N): How do we prevent Mr. Almighty from detecting this thing?

Ryuken had read Soken Ishida's notes and passed on the info to both (F/N) and Isshin. (F/N) was aware of Yhwach's Almighty ability. What could they realistically do to a guy who can alter the future?

"Dad? Are you alright?"

(S/N) walked downstairs and saw her father making the living room a mess with massive amounts of paper.

(F/N): Oh... (S/N)... Good morning, are you leaving for school?

(S/N): Yeah... Have you heard from (Y/N) and Calavera?

(F/N): Calavera's with Kisuke in Hueco Mundo while (Y/N) went to Soul Society. Don't worry about them. They're tough. They'll be back soon.

(S/N): If you say so...

(S/N) was worried for her siblings but she knew that (Y/N) had grown accustomed to fighting consistently. Calavera on the other hand was a different case. However, Calavera being in Hueco Mundo meant Wiz was there to look after her, so it eased some worries off of her mind.

(F/N): Do you want me to take you to school?

(S/N): I'll be fine walking to school. You look busy so I'll leave you to it.

(F/N): Be safe.

(S/N) left the house and (F/N) decided to gather up all of his papers and organize them.

(F/N): I'm not a super genius. I'm an investigator. So I'll just search for the information rather than finding it myself. And sometimes, the info you need is where you least expect it.

If Soken Ishida had information from something as significant as the first war against the Soul Society, who knew what Daichi (L/N) was hiding. (F/N) always described his father as an enigma. Perhaps he knew more about Yhwach than Soken did.

(F/N) entered his attic and looked around. After his father's passing, he kept a lot of his study materials and books. (F/N) didn't know what his father was studying but he didn't want to just throw it away. He simply just thought of them as a memento. After a few minutes of looking, (F/N) found a heavy box only labelled "Daichi (L/N)".

Simply seeing his father's name was enough to make the man reminisce on his childhood after adoption.

(Flashback) More than 30 years ago.

3 years after (F/N)'s adoption.

A fifteen year old (F/N) entered his father's study abruptly while his father was reading.

(F/N): Mom said dinner's ready...

Daichi: I'm sure I taught you better manners than that. Knock before you enter.

(F/N): Right... I'll be sure to do that next time...

(F/N) looked around his father's study. It wasn't a big room whatsoever which allowed (F/N) to notice that one of the bookshelves in the study had a few odd books. They didn't look like published books at all. The confused look on (F/N)'s face didn't go unnoticed by Daichi.

Daichi: Did one of the books catch your eye?

(F/N): Huh? No, not really. I just thought they looked really weird...
