Chapter Twenty-three:..The Hunt Has Just Begun

"Coming!," William Doe rushed to the door, gripping the doorknob tightly before swinging the door open to two men wearing black suits and dark glasses "Uh can I help you?," William asked, "Indeed so Mr. Doe," The taller male answered "Ah I hope this isn't about my son, He's like a magnet for trouble," William lightly laughed. The taller male moved in front of the shorter officer...

"I just need to ask some questions, you don't mind If I come inside do you?," William moved out of the doorway "I don't mind coming inside," William opened the door wider as the man walked inside.

"Would you like something to drink?," Wiliam asked as the male shook his head "No thank you, I'm just here for some questions to be answered," William nodded his head, as the two males sat down at the table across from each other "Your son, John correct?," The man asked "That's correct," William answered.

"I work for Wellston highschool, we contact the parents of the child and have a small meeting about their grades and if they meet them," William smiled softly "Here's a copy of his grades, since his break from school," The man smiled, handing the paper to the raven "He's done a pretty good job keeping them up like this," William read, a smile appearing on the raven's face before it slowly faded away, reading the title once more.

Welslton Middle School

"Ah, you know, there's something I have to do," William swiftly handed the paper back to the male, a frown was quickly placed on the male's face "William, take a seat I still have so many questions to ask you," The man formed a creepy smile "I have to be somewhere else, I'm so sorry maybe another day," William ran over to the front door, gripping the knob tightly "I'm afraid not Mr. Doe, your not going anywhere," William turned back toward the suited male. Slowly placing his hand onto his sunglasses as he removed them.

Red spiral eyes staring at William...

"Now William, would you please stab this into your neck," Reaching toward the raven a small syringe with a light blue liquid. William slowly took hold of the needle, raising his hand toward his neck before the needle was injected into his body.

William's eyes fluttered shut, before falling backward to the ground, another male but shorter appeared behind William, catching the raven. "T-This guy is heavy!!," The shorter male yelled "C'mon we don't want to keep the boss waiting any further," The taller male growled, placing his sunglasses back on before walking out of the home.

"Oh you have got to be KIDDING ME-," Isen poked his head into the newspaper room, watching his crush talk to Seraphina "You're telling me she's the hacker you guys were talking about?!!," Isen yelled "Dude most of us were shocked it was Cecile!," Blyke answered, the gold turned toward the blond "And how did you know that Cecile was a hacker!," Isen questioned, pointing his finger at Arlo "She helped me track my phone after it was stolen by some low tiers," Arlo said, as Isen quickly crossed his arms "Oh come on Isen, don't be mad, be glad Cecile is helping us find John!," Remi smiled "Fine...This better not get me fired off of the newspaper," Isen muttered, as Cecile and Seraphina walked out of the newspaper room.

"So John's been captured?," Cecile questioned "Never thought he'd be the one to get captured first...," Cecile muttered "Cecile is there any way you can find him?," Remi asked "I can track him by phone...But they probably knew John had a phone on him so it could've been destroyed," Cecile explained "Was there anything else on John or was on him for a while that I could track him off of?," Cecile asked.

"The tracker...!," Remi muttered "What tracker?," Isen asked "The tracker that we found at the mall!," Elaine said, quickly turning toward Remi with a smile on her face "Remi do you still have it?," Blyke asked, "Yep it's in my room at the house," Arlo sent a confused look "The tracker is still on, it could be leading them to your bedroom?," Remi smiled softly "I figured out how to manually turn it off and on with my ability," Remi said "Nobody will be figuring out where we live now," Remi spoke "We can meet at your house after school then?," Cecile questioned "Yeah I'll send you the address-,"

!!John, Seraphina, Remi, Elaine, Arlo, Blyke, and Isen. Please report to the headmaster's office please...!!

"Uh oh...," Isen muttered as the hallway began filling up with murmurs "We better get going...," Blyke said as the rest of the group nodded.

"I was just informed by Keene that you all left on a beach trip without my permission and just got back yesterday with injuries," Vaughn paused, leaning forward in his chair "Am I right?," The group nodded their head "Now before I continue, where is John?," Vaughn questioned as the room began to fill with murmurs, before going quiet again. Vaughn turned toward Seraphina "Where is he Seraphina?," Watching the teen take a deep breath "He was captured by our attacker...," Vaughn's eyes widened before them.

"At Least tell me you know who's been attacking you," Arlo nodded his head "It was Keon...Headmaster Vaughn," Arlo answered, his eyes darting away from Vaughn's "Should've known it was that redhead bastard...," Vaughn muttered quietly "I won't be giving you any discipline," The headmaster paused "But I need to know any evidence you have and what exactly happened over this trip," The group nodded "Tell me everything you did on this trip," Vaughn said, "Well we stopped at Windermill's mall, we were followed and attacked in normal and car chase," Remi started "For awhile it was peaceful, so we all decided to go to Hollyhills annual fair, where we were followed again, John Seraphina and one of John's childhood friend's, Claire were attacked at a duck fishing game, We fought again...," Blyke paused turning toward Seraphina, "Do you want to finish that part?," Seraphina nodded.

"We were soon attacked by John afterward-,"

"John attacked you?!," Both Vaughn and Keene shouted "Well yes and no!," Seraphina shook her head "They had a plan B, so they injected John with some red liquid that made him think that everything and everyone was trying to hurt him," The Ace explained, as the two adults took a deep breath "I see...Continue please," Vaughn said "We figured out how to help John and after we did, we rushed him to nurse at the fair where he woke up to his senses," Seraphina paused "So from your explanations, Keon has found a way to create drugs that can do anything to a person if injected in...," Vaughen questioned, Seraphina shook her head.

"Have you found the source of where Keon is getting the ability to make these drugs?," Seraphina crossed her arms tightly "When I was working with Spectre, I broke into a high-security lab. I found out the drug that cancels out abilities was made with blood from a god tier..," Seraphina explained, she knew what Vaughn would ask next "Do you know who it is?," Vaughn asked.

"Jane Doe..," Seraphina turned away "John's mother," Vaughn and Keene's eyes widened, Vaughn closed his eyes "I do not want you leaving campus," Seraphina's eyes widened "Headmaster-,".

"I think it's best to put this situation in our hands Seraphina," Keene said. Seraphina felt anger rise in her stomach, turning her back from Vaughn and Keene, then without even feeling her feet move. She quickly dashed out of the room, tears beginning to flow down her face.

"Seraphina!,"

She didn't care she needed to find Keon, stop whatever his plans were, and save John..her terrible.

"Seraphina!!,"

The magenta's feet finally stopped running, turning around to meet Remi's and the rest of her friend's gaze "You guys can't just leave John, We had a plan!," Seraphina yelled, "And we still do!," Elaine raised her voice, Seraphina's eyes widening "What...?," Seraphina paused "We aren't going to listen to Vaughn," Blyke said.

"John's our friend and we don't know how long it'll take for Vaughn and Keene to find him," Remi softly smiled, getting a smile on Seraphina's face as she wiped off the stray tears on her face "We're going to find John and kick Keon's ass!," Isen laughed as the rest of the group began to laugh, As the group laughed. Arlo crossed his arms tightly, placing a soft smirk on his face as he turned away from the group.

"We're going to save John, Who's with me?," Remi placed her hand in the middle of the group as Isen's, Blyke's, Elaine's, and Seraphina's hands began piling on top of Remi's. Both Remi and Seraphina turned toward Arlo, "Arlo...-,"

"You better not say a word about this to John," Arlo placed his hand into the middle, and a smile grew on Seraphina's face "Our lips are sealed," Isen said, pretending to zip his mouth shut, Arlo smirked before they all threw there hands up into the air.
