The tension in the security room was suffocating. Every second felt like an eternity as Isen worked at the terminal, his fingers clumsily flying over the oversized keyboard."Come on, come on...," Isen muttered, his golden eyes glowing faintly as he scanned through the system's locked files.

Remi anxiously bounced on her heels, glancing at the closet where they had shoved the unconscious guards. "Any progress?," Isen exhaled sharply. "Yeah, John is definitely being held in Abcz, it's a sub-level containment chamber. But the damn section is locked. We need an access keycard.,"

Arlo crossed his arms. "And one of those guards must have it," Remi turned toward the closet, her electric-blue eyes narrowing. Without hesitation, she strode over, yanked the door open, and scanned the pile of unconscious bodies. "Alright," she said. "Let's start searching,"

Arlo and Isen joined her, each of them rummaging through the guards' pockets. Jackets were tossed aside, belts unbuckled, and ID badges inspected. "Damn it," Isen grumbled. "Where the hell is it?,"

!!GASP!!

A sharp inhale cut through the room. One of the guards suddenly jerked awake, his eyes snapping open—a bright blue glow flashing in the dimly lit security room.

"INTRU—,"

!!CRACK!!

Remi's fist slammed into his jaw before he could finish. The guard reeled back but recovered almost instantly, his ability crackling to life. Before they could react, a shockwave of kinetic energy exploded from his body, sending Remi flying into the control desk.

!!BAM!!

Arlo barely managed to throw up a barrier before the force could hit him and Isen. "Son of a-," Isen cursed, stumbling back. The guard grinned, wiping a trickle of blood from his split lip. "You little shits think you can just waltz in here and take whatever you want?," Remi grunted, pushing herself up from the desk. "Ugh... I really hate when they wake up," Isen groaned, The guard rushed toward him, his fist glowing blue as he swung down—

!!CRACKLE!!

A burst of electricity erupted from Remi's hand, shocking him mid-motion and sending him skidding backward. But he didn't go down. Instead, he roared in pain and fury, raising both arms-

!!WHOOSH!!

A telekinetic force erupted from him, shattering the nearby monitors and flinging the broken shards toward them like deadly projectiles. "Shit!-," Isen ducked just in time, barely avoiding a flying piece of glass. Arlo, unfazed, slammed his foot down.

!!BOOM!!

A golden barrier materialized around them, the glass shattering uselessly against it. "Remi!," Arlo barked. "I got it!," Remi blurred forward, dodging another burst of energy before landing a direct lightning-infused punch to the guard's gut.

!!BZZT!!

The shock sent him crashing into the wall with a sickening crunch. He slumped to the floor, groaning in agony. Arlo stepped forward, grabbed the front of his uniform, and yanked him up. "The keycard. Now," The guard glared at him, panting heavily. "Go... to hell," Arlo sighed. "I tried asking nicely," Remi cracked her knuckles, and Isen smirked. "Fine," Arlo muttered, before swiftly slamming the man's head into the wall-knocking him out instantly.

!!THUD!!

As the guard's body crumpled to the ground, something slipped from his belt. A sleek black keycard with a red stripe. "Finally!," Isen grabbed it and held it up triumphantly. Remi dusted herself off. "Let's hope this actually works,"
