"And that ladies and gentlemen was Almighty of Coach Niall's team singing "Take Me To Church" by Hozier!" Carson announces, the camera zooming in on his face.

All five of us are all smiles as we hug and wave to the audience. At least, I was until I saw that Casey and Tom weren't in their usual spots. Where are they?

I brush that thought aside as Carson starts asking the judges thoughts on our performance.

This time, we get to hear from Chance first. "I am so glad that you guys finally had the opportunity to sing a slower, more powerful song in terms of emotion. I feel that the song that was chosen meshed well with all five of your individual tones and helped you guys create a story. Honestly I keep telling my fellow judges, I have no clue who is going to win this year - though I have a really good idea that it's going to be someone from my team, c'mon - because you are all extremely talented. Performances like this, are the reason why. I feel so glad that I am a coach and have no say in the voting at this point, because I got no clue what I would do in this situation now. But, as always you guys did fantastic. Keep this up, and I will say that I can see your group being in the top three." Chance claps.

"Well, what a statement to say Chance." Carson says, "Alright, Mister Blake Shelton, what would you like to say about this performance?"

"As my fellow coach here said, this season of artists is definitely one of the hardest to pick from. Which is especially fun to watch as this is my last season on The Voice, by the way." The crowd laughs, as Blake continues, "Anyways, I thought this performance was an exceptional showcase of your ability to perform multiple genres. This song was equally, if not more powerful than all of your other performances. I'll even go as far by saying that this was my favorite performance of you guys'. I absolutely loved the arrangement, and the emotion that all five of you put into this piece. I think that each and every one of you is a phenomenal performer and I can't wait to see what you accomplish after this show."

"Ah thinking ahead are we now? You think these guys can become artists after the show?" Carson inquires.

Blake smiles at us, "There is no doubt in my mind that these five are going to get a record deal right after this show."

Wow. What a statement.

"Well on that note, Kelly Clarkson what do you have for us?"

"Guys. You just get better and better every time!" Kelly starts, "You are making me wish that I fought harder for both of you during the Blind Auditions and still put you as a group together." She sighs, "But, you guys were fantastic as always. I don't know if I have a right to say this because I'm not your coach but, I am extremely proud of you guys. I'm proud of the growth you have made since the beginning of your journey together, with the addition of Pyper to your group and how smoothly you took that change. I think you all work very cohesively, and if you keep up this hard work you all are going to make it to the finals."

The crowd cheers as Carson turns to us, "Well, it seems that all the other coaches are expecting you five in the Final! Anything you would like to say about that?"

Anthony raises his microphone, "Well it's a very kind thing to say, and it feels pretty darn good that most of the coaches think we're good enough to make it to the end."

"Yeah," Claire agrees, "This is just such a great opportunity and knowing that you all have faith in us is a dream come true. Thank you!" The three of us who haven't spoken, mutter agreements and nod. Claire and Anthony are literally mother and father.

"And finally, words from your coach, Niall. What do you have to tell your group?" Carson asks.

"Well first, I'd like to state my agreements with my fellow coaches: I truly believe you guys have something special and if you keep up the good work, you can make it far." Niall says, looking proud, "Now, I don't want to act like I have favorites but, whenever I watch this group perform, rehearse, or even just interact I feel like I'm reliving my memories. I see myself in each one of you; I know how hard it is to be thrown into a group, in your case Pyper, with people you barely know. I've been on a show like this, I know how hard it is and how much work you have to put in to show how much you want to be here. When I see you guys struggling during rehearsal, know that I am not mad, I just want you guys to succeed and possibly even win this thing. I made it out of the X-Factor with a recording deal, I want the same for you. Good job, I am so proud." Niall claps.

Carson claps, "Alright, that was Almighty with "Take Me To Church" by Hozier! Now please keep your hands up for Ms. Deveny Martinez from Team Kelly!"

We exit backstage where Jamie immediately pulls us into a group hug. "That was great! We definitely are Niall's favorite."

"I think we are one of two members of his team left." Alex says.

"Damnnn, this show is moving fast!" Jamie exclaims.

Our laughter is interrupted by Chad/Ginger tapping me on the shoulder.

"Pyper? I need you to come with me." He looks at me with panicked eyes.

"Wait, why? What happened?" I ask.

Chad looks at the rest of the group apprehensively before responding, "We received a call during your performance."

He hesitates.

"What happened?", I ask yet again.

"It's your sister. She's in the hospital, there was a car crash."
