I was only planning on doing three parts for this story but it's getting too long to the point where my computer can barely handle the lag so if the fourth and final part comes out next year, Happy New Year?

"Wow," Patrick said as the food was placed on the table. Everyone began to take their seats as they admired the food.

"Huh, those mashed potatoes look like one particular mountain I've been to before. Recognise it, Hilda?" Nostra asked. Hilda shot them a look, scowling slightly. "I thought we agreed we wouldn't bring it up," she snapped.

"Ooh! I can't wait to eat this! And that! And these! And those dishes over there!" Lyria exclaimed as her eyes scanned the table hungrily. Stella was doing the same thing, her eyes full of wonder like the whole meal was made of chocolate. Rain sat silently next to her and Ciara. He hoped nothing would blow his cover until everyone actually started eating.

Lance found a small corner on the table next to Stella, which was the only place where he was able to sit comfortably for the dinner party. Hilda sat between Nostra and Agatha. Nostra was debating with Ciara and Kane over Celestials knows what while Agatha was discussing everyday Frostbourne news with Virmir, Syphion and Flint. Hilda groaned and slumped her head on the table. So much for being social.

Azura had sat down next to Patrick, a smile on her face. "Well, how's this to a possible successful Christmas Dinner Party as your first year of being Grandmaster?" she asked, resting her elbows on the table.

Truth be told, the year had been a struggle and a success. From the Ender Watchers attacking the Overworld to the defeat of the Undead, the Nether Civil War, the battle at the Far Plains, the attempts at collecting the end crystals, Hilda's success at recovering the outpost and capturing Hogsworth... being Grandmaster was tough. Patrick knew Theo must have had his weak moments but that was before life in the Overworld had faced the wrath of the Undead. Before the zombies broke out.

Instead, Patrick got up from his seat and clanked a glass with a spoon. Everyone quietened down before Patrick cleared his throat.

"I never doubted in the Frostbourne. Never at all. We have been through some tough times and we will go through more. But today is not a day to dwell on our hardships. Today is Christmas Eve, or better yet, the Christmas season! It's a wondrous time that even the Nether Horde surely celebrates, albeit in a probably more twisted way than we do. While all those we've fought in the past turning up at the door was unexpected, I am honoured that you all accepted my invitation to the Grandmaster's Annual Christmas Dinner Party, despite it being my first time hosting. Let's all raise our glasses to a wonderful Christmas and New Year and for good luck for our upcoming battles and fights we have yet to take part in. To the Frostbourne!"

"To the Frostbourne!" Everyone echoed back as they raised their glasses. Then, Lyria giggled as she brought her glass down and immediately grabbed a helping of pasta from the table. Soon after, everyone was grabbing portions of food to put onto their plates. Rain cautiously grabbed food he knew wouldn't affect him. He wouldn't have to wait long until it affected someone else anyway.

Kane eyed one of the bigger bowls of soup. He grabbed a small bowl and began to scoop some for himself.
Ciara chuckled to herself. "Still can't help yourself around those dishes can you?" she teased as she took a sip of wine. Kane shook his head before swallowing a spoonful of the soup. Immediately, he spat it out, coughing while trying to get the taste off his tongue.
Azura paused while eating, having just swallowed the same soup. Nostra snickered. "What's up, Kane? Cat got your tongue?" they joked.

Kane began coughing uncontrollably. So did Azura as she hastily poured herself some water. Ciara glared at Nostra. "He's allergic to cats!" she shouted. Nostra rolled their eyes. "So is Azura, but you don't see Patrick calling me out for all the cat jokes I say to her," they sneered. Then, realisation dawned on the two's faces as Kane and Azura continued coughing. They both looked at the bowl of soup. Cat fur was swimming inside like fish in the ocean.
