Exo Kai

"Ugh, this is so frustrating." I whined. It was almost 11pm, and I was still at the dance studio. I just couldn't get the moves right. Kai wanted to had to teach me a new dance move for our performance. The move was hard but trending and not many people could do it. It was hard for me to dance to the beat and get the moves exactly on point although I was a dancer. Multiple times, Kai demonstrated the moves, but I couldn't get them right. It didn't help that he was so attractive, either. Not to mention patient. "It's okay. We can take a break. Let's just practice this one more time." he told me, giving an encouraging smile. I couldn't help but smile back at him. "Arraso." I agreed. After all, I was exhausted. One last try wouldn't hurt. "But I think I'll have to try something else, because I don't think watching me dance is helping you much. We should learn the moves, then use the music to get used to it. Here." Walking over, he came up behind me. We were so close to each other. His hands grasped both of mine, and he positioned them up, and let go to place them on my waist, positioning them. His touch left me breathless. Then he came up closer behind me and said, "You know what the steps are, right? It's just the timing that's troubling you?" "Um... yeah." I managed to say. "Okay. You do it, and I'll help you get the timing right."
Nodding, I kept my position. "5,6,7,8-" then I started dancing, trying to remember what Kai taught me for the first step. All the other times I tried, it felt like I couldn't follow the beat correctly. But this time, I felt like I could. It was like I was finally getting the feel of the dance.

Kai continued to guide me from behind. I felt more confidence thanks to him.
Soon, the dance had finally came to an end. Pulling away from me, he went to go get his water bottle. When he came back, he said, "Did that help you a little bit? Or was it too weird?" "I think I finally understand the rhythm, thanks" I replied.

If only we could do that again.

"Do you wanna try it on your own now then?" "Um.. Sure." I said feeling nervous as my heart pounded.

What if I still can't get it? What if he gives up on me when I fail?

Abruptly, he started the music. Letting out a deep sigh, I got into position. At first, I absolutely had no confidence. But then, I remembered how the moves go with the beat. And when I got used to it, I loosened up. The song then ended. I totally forgot Kai was there as I was mesmerised the steps. 3mon
Clapping, he walked towards me. "You definitely improved, (y/n). I'm impressed. Maybe I should use that technique more often." he said as he looked into my eyes.

I looked down and blushed for a moment. Trying To get a hold of myself, I looked back at him. He then said, "You know, I think I want to add one last step to this dance." I looked at him, curious. He came closer and he stood in front of me. He then took my hands. This time, intertwined his hands with mine and he leaned down. Our faces so close to each other, he softly said, "This." softly pressed his lips against mine. He let go of my hands and hugged me tightly. I wrapped my arms around his neck, and never want let go. Pulling away, he immediately blushed. "Sorry," he looked down. "I couldn't help it. Saranghae, (y/n)-ssi"
