The sunlit clouds drifted across the clear blue sky as I walked to school. "(y/n), Annyeong" Sungmin stopped in front of me in his bicycle. "Are you walking to school? Wanna ride?"
"Huh? A..a...Nah. It's Okay." "C'mon, you're probably gonna be late for school. It's faster this way. Get on." Well, if he says so~ I blushed as I wrapped my arms around his waist. "Yah, Hold on tighter" I tightened my grip and blushed harder. (a/n: grip.... yeah not sure if i'm right but ~okay~)
On the way to school, I could hear whispers from the market vendors. "Hey isn't that (y/n). Is that her boyfriend? Whose son could he be?" (A/n; they lived in traditional houses like the ones you see in some korean dramas)They whispered to each other, "That's weird. Maybe he really doesn't live here." (the market vendors would know all the 'children' that lived there/here)
We soon reached school. I stared blankly at him. How come no one knows him?
"(Y/n)-ah" Sungmin snapped his fingers as I returned to reality. He continued walking till I tagged on his shirt and he turned around. "Oppa," "oh?" "Don't you live in this neighbourhood? (Referring to the neighbourhood I stayed in) How come no one knows you?" "About time you asked." "But you always go home that way. Plus, you always hang out at the park." "Why would I have done that?" He says and smirks leaving me confused.
Sungmin Pov
I walked into the hallway and met up with my friends. "Jungwoo Hyung!" "Yah, Sungmin-ah, I saw you with (y/n). You rode her to school right? Finally making a move huh bro" "What? Nooo~" "Yah, dongsaeng(lil bro) I think she likes you. I mean that way I see it, you guys have feelings for each other. Just tell her already." Sigh... This Hyung seriously. "I'm planning to okay. Chill."
-Time skip-
After school, I texted (y/n).
'Hey, are you free after school today?'
'Yea, why?'
'I need to tell you something. Meet me at the park at 3pm.'
'Ok~'
Argh, What if she doesn't turn up? What if she rejects me? She wouldn't right?
(Y/n) POV
-3pm-
I took a walk around the park as the breathtaking scenery captivated me. Though I lived near the park, I've never actually had the time to visit. I inhaled as fresh air filled my lungs and I felt refreshed and exhilarated.
Suddenly, arms wrapping around my waist. "Sungmin Oppa?" I turned around to see a smile carved on his perfect features. My heartbeat faster as he was only inches away from me. "(Y/n), I LIKE YOU" he said quickly. My eyes widened and my heart pounded like crazy. "W-will y-y-you be my g-g-girlfriend?" He asked. At this point, I thought to myself, there's no point in hiding my feelings anymore right?
I smiled to myself and replied in a soft voice but loud enough for Sungmin to hear, ".......yes...."
He's face lit up and he pulled me closer to him. Our lips only inches away from each other. He smiled before crashing his lips against mine.
~The next few hours passed in a delightful blur~
