HAMZA
Azra: All the best jiju! >.<
The screen lits up with the text, as i reached the checkpoint between the border of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.
I rarely take car because it just such a long journey of Five hours plus driving alone. But i need the car today! The officers started checking, and i text back a thankyou to Azra.
She's my saviour! If she wouldn't have particularly force me to confess, take her parents out on a fake PTM, this all won't be possible at all, she did all this just because she couldn't see her amazing didi.. crying over a idiot! She literally called me a idiot!
I stop infront of a sweet shop and use google translate to double check the name.
Cause screw my language skills! The only one i can speak fully is English and broken urdu.. which most people don't understand because of my accent!
It's not my fault at all...my whole childhood teachers are from the UK! And I've cousins back there and especially my therapist.. it's just a natural instinct to adapt that.
But the lady in my life never misses a chance to use the words that makes impossible not use goggle.
I shopped for some sweets, dryfruits, some fruits and ofcourse some flowers for my baby!
According to my nani you can't go empty hand to your sasural..and it's my first time going their as a yet be officialised damad!
I ring the doorbell and Azra answers it! "Hmm...Aap meri didi ko impress karne ke koi mauka nahi chhodte ho!" She teased pointing at my kurta, reality it's been two days since her sister and i talked.
The only time i wear kurta is like for Eid or while I'm staying in Lucknow!
As to because there are certain customs, and my Amma is quite strict! Who is my Nani's phupho! At the end of the day I've family rules to follow!
Aatif uncle folded the newspaper and placed it on the centre table, shifting his whole attention towards me! "So? What are your plans after Graduation?" Her dad asks. I can already feel the sweat dripping from my forehead.
I mean even after family meet ups, he still doubts me?
There's quite contrast of how Hanu describes him, and him in reality.. it's the second time I'm sitting here, but the nervousness is still the same.
I explained my plans and he just pinned me with a judgemental stare.
It's not his fault who the fuck chooses the most difficult degree just to start a company?
To my rescue Hania came with the tray of chai! "Pappa take it! It's hot!" She exclaimed zeroing her eyes at my kurta.
I know baby! You can't handle my hottness
And with the amount of disgust he looked at me before just disappeared, as soon as he saw his daughter.
She stood infront of me, with her perfectly sculpted brow she signalled me to take a cup.
But i kept looking at her, my baby is too easy to read! It's just so natural with her...I know she's going to wear something black, and i just wanted to match with her.
"If you keep looking like this infront of my Pappa, who is right infront of you, I might acci-intensionally drop the chai on you!" That was the sweetest stop staring at me Assh*le or you are embarassing me motherfucker smile!
