While you were explaining all of this to them you never once looked them in the eyes.
You slowly look up at them to see their reaction.
Jimin, Namjoon, and Taehyung were visibly shocked by the revelation. Their faces mirrored a mix of surprise, confusion, and sadness as they absorbed the weight of your story. For several moments, the room was silent as they processed your confession.
You kind of knew this is how they would react... that's one of the reasons you didn't want to tell them at first...
"I know it's a lot to process but I promise I'm okay"
Jimin was the first to speak, his voice tinged with a mix of sadness and concern.
"Y/N... I can't even begin to imagine what you've been through. Why didn't you tell us sooner?"
"I... didn't want you guys to get involved...Taesoo is a dangerous man. I couldn't risk any of you getting hurt by him because of me"
That last sentence made you almost break down. These boys mean the world to you, and you would be damned if you were to let anything happened to them.
Namjoon chimed in, his voice filled with a mixture of understanding and worry.
"Y/N, we appreciate your concern for our safety, but we care about you too. We wish you would have trusted us enough to share this with us sooner. Knowing what you've been through and carrying this burden alone for so long... it must have been incredibly difficult for you."
Taehyung spoke next, his eyes reflecting empathy.
"We understand that you were trying to protect us, Y/N. But we want to be there for you as well. You don't have to face everything alone. We're your friends, and we care about you. We're here to support you, no matter what."
"I... I'm sorry" you couldn't hold back your tears anymore. You wondered how things would have turned out if you confided in them sooner.
"I'm so sorry" you whispered in between sobs.
Jimin moved closer to you, wrapping his arms around you in a comforting embrace. The other two boys followed, surrounding you with their presence.
"Don't apologize, Y/N... We understand why you kept it to yourself. It must have been incredibly tough, carrying all that weight by yourself for so long. But know that you're not alone anymore. We're here for you now."
"Enough about me. Tae...you and Namjoon had something to tell me?"
The mood in the room shifted from heavy to slightly lighter. Taehyung and Namjoon exchanged glances, realizing it was their turn to share their news with you.
"I promise we will explain everything to you once we save Jungkook okay?" Taehyung said.
You looked at them...they were acting strange but this was the least of your worries now. You had to help Jungkook.
"Fine... Do you guys know where he is?"
Namjoon nodded, his expression serious.
"We have a good idea of where Jungkook might be. We've gathered some intel and made contact with a reliable source who provided us with an address. It's not a confirmed location, but it's the best lead we have right now."
Relieved washed over you as you heard him say those words.
"What's the address? I want to help..."
Junwoo needs his father, and you can't help but worry about Jungkook. You knew you guys had so much to talk about...
Namjoon hesitated for a moment before sharing the address they received.
"The address is in a remote warehouse on the outskirts of the city. Our source was able to gather some information about the security and layout of the place. But it's risky, to be honest."
Taehyung quickly spoke up.
"And you won't be coming with us to save him Y/N it's dangerous" he said in a serious tone.
"Tae... I can help. Please" you said to him pleadingly
Taehyung's face softened as he heard the determination in your voice. He knew you wanted to help, but he also worried about your safety. He looked at Namjoon, silently asking for support.
Namjoon pondered for a moment, considering your plea. He understood the emotional connection you had with Jungkook, but he also cared about your safety. After a momentary silence, he spoke up.
"Y/N, we appreciate your desire to help, but it's true that it's extremely dangerous. The warehouse is likely to be guarded and tightly secured. We don't want to risk putting you in harm's way."
"Think about Junwoo Y/N..." Jimin said.
Jimin's words hit you like a punch to the gut. You knew he was right. Your son's safety was paramount. But the thought of Jungkook being held captive filled you with a mixture of worry and helplessness.
"Damnit, I know, okay... But it's Jungkook. I can't just sit here and do nothing."
"We promise to bring him back safely okay? Just stay here and watch over Junwoo. Jungkook wouldn't want you to get involved in this." Taehyung said
"Y-You're right." You sighed
"Just...promise me you guys will be careful." You said in a serious yet worried tone.
Taehyung, Namjoon, and Jimin looked at each other, the weight of the mission ahead evident on their faces. They knew the risks involved, but they also understood the importance of getting to Jungkook.
"We promise, we'll be careful," Namjoon reassured you. "We'll bring Jungkook back safe and sound."
With that they all left the house and went to search for Jungkook.
After a few minutes of them leaving you sat down on the couch praying that they succeed. Suddenly you get a call from the Unknown number that texted you.
