The Reigning Sky

CHAPTER 9

Jay watched how Sky and Kendall was getting personal. Kendall told him about his family once but barely said much. He found it awkward and decided to leave. "Can you drive me home?" She asked looking at him. She stood up and walked towards him.

"You can't go home ma. The cops probably looking for you. You can stay if you want." Kendall said. He was headed towards his office. He needed to think. He still had to handle Rico and Cam. He didn't need Sky getting arrested. He needed answers and she was the only one that could give it to him.

Sky didn't want to stay with Kendall. She needed time to think. She didn't need him to open old wounds that were already closed. "Can I stay with you?" She asked Jay. She barley knew him but she didn't care. She rather stay there then here. Kendall reminded her of her father so much it hurt. "Please say yes." She thought.

"I think you should stay here ma." Jay responded. He didn't need her to be a witness to how he treat his women. What he did behind closed doors was his business. "I don't need this shit right now." He thought. He looked over at Kendall who had this look on his face saying help me out. "Aight shorty you can stay. You family and I ain't gonna do you like that." He said. Jayceon was playing with fire but it was his home and he didn't care.

Jay and Sky headed to her place to get her things. Once every thing was packed she headed to her car. She followed Jay to his place. "Wow, your place is beautiful." She said. She walked into the living where she was greeted by Khloe and Zev. She played with them a little. She was exhausted and needed to take a hot bath. "Where will I be sleeping? She asked. Jay's place had two bedrooms upstairs and one downstairs. He decided to let her have the guest room upstairs.

"Your room has its own bathroom and there is clean towels in the closet." He said. He showed her where all the necessities she will need. He closed the door behind him and headed to his office. So much had happened today that he forgot to pick up the money from the trap house. He called Maniac one of his workers. "What's good fam? How's everything." Jay said into the phone.

"Boss man everything's good. Had to spray them roaches Rico and Cam. They tried to crawl they ass in the house." Said Maniac speaking in code.

"Aight cool. I'm coming next week to check on everything. Make sure everyone's there." Jay said. He hung up and headed out to Raquel's house. It was still early and he was horny as hell. He hadn't spoken to her since last night and he wanted to make sure she wasn't going to run to her father. He grabbed his keys to his 2013 Cadillac XTS and sped down the highway.

Sky put her iPod on and listened to music. She played Aaliyah's song I miss you.

The lyrics hit her close to the heart. She missed her parents. Kendall was bringing back these memories that she stored somewhere in the back of her mind. She took her headphones out and went in the tub. She relaxed for 10 mins and did her hygiene. She got out and put on shorts and a tank top. Sky was beyond tired and just hopped in the bed. The events that took place today was unexpected. She wanted to go back and never had went out with Lauren.
