The Reigning Sky

CHAPTER 15

Sky arrived at Kendall's house. She was looking for parking and spotted a empty parking spot right next to Jayceon's car. She sighed but she remembered her promise to Fernando. She headed up to Kendall's apartment and rang the bell.

Kendall heard his door and automatically knew who it was. He ran to the door and opened it. He let Sky in and they headed to the living room where they fellas were. She sat down and took a deep breath. All she wanted was to go back in time and never had met Lauren.

"What's up lil sis?" Ron greeted her. He considered Kendall to be a brother to him so he considered Sky as his little sister.

Sky smiled at him and responded "Hey Ron." Sky was ready to get straight to business. If this was Kendall's team then this was her's as well. "What was that information you had for me Kendall." She continued looking at Kendall.

"The witnesses were those twin girls, Diamond and Asia." He responded. Sky just stared at him without responding. She wasn't in shock or was she not surprised. It was just going to take her sometime to kill them both.

"Shit. There is no way fucking way. I promise you I will kill them both. It just might take a while. They have this guy Ace they've known for a minute helping them." Sky said.

"You know who that nigga is?" Jay asked. He was surprised on how much Sky knew without them telling her. He wanted to know so he let her continue.

"Yea unfortunately I do. Back in the day he was a big time dope king. Once he met those two things started going downhill. They were setting him up to take all of his money and by "they" I mean Lauren was apart of it too. I met her when I was thirteen but that's another story. Once I came in the picture Ace forgot about them and was focused on me." Sky continued.

Everyone was silent and they knew where her story was headed to. Kendall stopped her. He didn't want to hear anymore just about how could they kill those girls without any loose ends.

"How can we get to them? Kendall asked. Mike was quiet through the whole thing. He was still thinking about Lauren but he was mesmerized by Sky's beauty and those gorgeous green eyes. He tried his hardest to not stare at her but he couldn't control himself.

"It's not that hard but I would need to do it alone. Diamond and Asia has no idea that Ace even knows me. I don't want to hear that I'm not trained or that I could go to jail. I have a great lawyer that can get me out of anything." She responded.

"Who exactly is your lawyer? Jayceon asked. This was the perfect opportunity to ask the questions that he needed to answers to.

"Well it's Raquel's father Fernando Blake. He's been our family's lawyer since I could remember." She responded. Sky looked over at Kendall. He nodded in agreement but didn't know Raquel was his daughter.

"That's true Jay but I didn't know she was his daughter. I never needed a lawyer but if I did he would be the one I would call." Kendall chimed in. "He knows to much of my family's secrets and he's the only one I would trust." He continued.

Jayceon nodded in understatement. He knew there was nothing he could do about that. His questions was answered, his secret was still in his possession and he wanted it that way. He sat there in deep thought about everything. They didn't need all do this heat right now but he needed those loose ends handled.

"We're going to have Ron and Mike watch their every move and they would report back to me." Ken said. He wanted to let her know that he was going to help even if she didn't like it.

"That's fine. They aren't the brightest but they aren't slow. Come up with a legit plan. They stay on the grand concourse and live by themselves." Sky replied getting up and heading towards the door. Kendall stopped her.
