The Reigning Sky

CHAPTER 2

Sky and Lauren had found a parking stop near the club. They headed towards the club and Lauren had seen her uncle standing out front. She also seen Mike's bosses Jay and Ken entering the club. "Damn these the niggas making the real money." She thought. Sky on the other hand was kind of glad she decided to go out for the first time. They headed to the door and Lauren greeted her uncle.

"Hey uncle Kel." She said smiling.

"Hey sweetheart. Come on in." He responded looking at Sky without recognizing her.

"Hey Kel. It's me Sky." She said realizing he didn't recognize her. He stepped back to take a second look.

"Damn Sky you look so pretty. Make sure you ladies stay out of trouble. You hear me?" He said the last part more towards Lauren than her.

"Okay thanks" both said in unison. They
headed towards the bar. Once they stepped in the club all eyes were on them. It would be easy to have any guy get them drinks. Luckily Lauren's uncle's girlfriend Syn was working tonight. "Hey girly" said Lauren approaching the bar.

"Hey what you need?" Syn asked.

"Six shots of patron please." Lauren responded.

Sky took her seat at the bar. Many dudes approached her but she shot them down quickly. She was here to just enjoy tonight. From the VIP Mike spotted Lauren at the bar. He wondered who she was with so he sent her a text.

Mike: Baby come to the VIP. Bring your friend.
Lauren felt her phone vibrate. She pulled out her iPhone and saw it was a text from Mike. She looked over at Sky who was admiring the scenery.

"Here Sky lets take these shots. I'm not taking no for an answer." She stated passing her her first shot. Sky took it to the head and drank the other two. She wasn't a drinker much but she wanted to enjoy her night. Lauren grabbed her hand and headed towards the VIP.

Once they got there Lauren seen Mike hugged up with some chick. She quickly stood in front of them and cleared her throat. Mike looked up and smirked. "Aye ma you got to go" looking at the chick who was sitting in his lap. She quickly got up and left.

"Who the fuck was that?" Asked Lauren. "

"Chill ma. That ain't nobody but a groupie." He said kissing her neck.

He looked over at Sky and couldn't believe it was her. "Oh shit. Look at you Sky. You still ugly though." He laughed.

"Shut the fuck up Mike. I can't stand you." She said laughing. Before she could take a seat, Kendall approached her. He was eyeing her since she had walked up there. She looked so familiar to him. Once he heard Mike call the girl's name out he knew it couldn't be true. He had to find out for sure.

Sky couldn't even take a seat without a guy approaching her. She was slowly getting frustrated. Once she seen who was in her face she couldn't believe it. She hadn't seen her cousin in years after her parents died. She had to make sure it was really him. He had those piercing green eyes they inherited from their dads side of the family.

"Kendall?" She asked only for him to hear. He looked at her and was surprised she even remembered him.

"Sky its me. It's Kendall." He responded. She hugged him for about five minutes until she heard Lauren's voice.

"How do you know him?" She asked. Kendall shot her a look. It was his birthday and he just found his little cousin he adored so much.

"I can't believe it's really you. I've tried to look for you for so long but never found anything." Sky said. She was now sitting down.

"Same here. Let's enjoy our night and talk about this tomorrow." He said kissing her on the cheek. She nodded her head and took another drink.

Jayceon was sitting with this chick who wasn't talking about anything. He politely dismissed the chick and walked over to Ken. He was with This exotic chick that could past to be his sister. He couldn't deny the fact that he was attracted to her. He wondered who she was but he will soon find out.

"Yo Ken I'm out." Jay said dapping him. Before he could turn and leave he heard gun shots. Mike, Ron, Ken and Jay threw their guns out. They had began shooting back. They couldn't see who was shooting and didn't care who they were shooting back at.

At time of the shooting Lauren and Sky were dancing. The liquor had gotten to them. They were feeling nice. They both were dancing on each other. Sky was the better dancer of the two. She had went to dance class all her life. Lauren just used what she got. When the shooting began Lauren got down. As for Sky who was in shock she just stood there. She didn't know what to do. Jay had grabbed her and headed out through the back of the club. He was followed by Ken who had grabbed Lauren. Being that Ken drove his Lamborghini they had taken Lauren's car to Kendall's place. This was an eventful night for all of them. Especially Sky, she was still in shock and was just ready to go home.
