Chapter 23 - Going into Heaven! Shock in Heaven's Courthouse

(Lust Ring - Verosika's Penthouse)

Varla is putting the bandage wrap around Verosika's head. The succubus is still crying, holding the stuffed cushions while lying on the cushion bag.

Her crew peeped through the door, sharing their sad and worried glances.

Varla sighed. "It shouldn't have happened like this. He's a damn fool and I couldn't stop him.

"It doesn't mean to be such cruel or right reasons." Verosika sobbed. "Morbius is the only soulmate I can trust with my whole life."

A succubus star rises from her cushion bag that resembles the heart shape and still wears the same outfit from Ozzie's. She went over to her dresser table with a mirror and turned to the left at the old photo of her young self and Morbius since they were little. She took a photo and gaze at him with sadness and guilt look after what she treated Blitzo harshly in humiliation.

"Now I understand why he helps Blitzo after he broke up with me. He's the counsellor. But I got them in a way." Verosika wept.

Verosika closed her eyes as one of the tears dripped onto a photo and sat on a chair before starting to sing about her solemn and selfish acts with the soft and sad pop music.

Popstar's Lament

Verosika:

I am drifting apart where I was wondering what I have seen.

I cannot think the way I recall and do something bad.

Verosika moved herself away from the mirror and gazed at the ceiling, seeing her memories of Blitzo and Morbius.

Verosika:

An imp has robbed me of my life and broke my heart.

And there is a person who I want to adore, until he looks away from me.

I now am terrible as the others, and I never had a chance to accept the apology.

Verosika walked over to the balcony and looked at the stars. Varla watched her in sadness.

Verosika:

I will know about your secret; you are a devil on the other side.

And it makes me want to share my sexual experience and suffering.

Please don't make me feel bad about you. Can you hear me? Promise me if you love me...

Verosika sighs, lowering her head down and cupping her eyes before weeping sorrowfully.

"Morbius. What the hell are you doing to defend Blitzo and Elizabeth's actions?!" Verosika cried.

Varla quickly comforted her. "It's gonna be okay."

Then Kiki, Coco and Apple appeared behind her.

"What are you bitchin' crying over there?" Apple asked.

"Something I wouldn't have done ruining his life." Verosika replied.

Kiki scoffed. "After what he made thrashing in Ozzie's?! Fuck no! We already found out the Supreme Counsellor was your boyfriend and he's becoming a demon. What kind of messed-up guy was he?"

"We know he was there trying to make your ex leave and then you are standing there to mock him for setting up the Goetia prince and his employee. You couldn't make him upset before that happened!" Coco said, kicking something away.
