Chapter 27 - Colton's Captured! Trap for the Supreme Counsellor!

(Carmine Residence)

Carmilla watched the TV in her office with her daughters, drawn by disturbance and unease and even Zestial is looking out the windows but hearing the news. She uttered in Spanish quietly

"He hasn't done something quite awful..." Zestial sighed. "One of the Sins have been defied by him."

"I knew we would have warned him. Now he got a death warrant." Carmilla muttered.

"What must we do?" Odette inquired.

"Mom..." Clara replied.

Carmilla stared at the TV, piqued her interest when she noticed sobbing and guilt-ridden Verosika held by Varla before putting her inside the limo and signaled the driver to take them back to the apartment.

"What is it?" Clara asked. "Please tell us."

"There is someone who had witnessed him as well." Carmilla replied.

"Her? Verosika?" Odette asked.

"Which means she saw the whole thing in the club, feeling heartbroken. She does care about him. I believe she cannot be involved in this. With her on his path, the people can take advantage of that." Carmilla said.

"I do what you mean, mother. We can't allow them to lure Morbius into their trap and having her as a bait. What makes you think it is starting to get worse?" Odette wondered.

"Rest assured, Odette." Carmilla replied.

Zestial chuckled heartily. "Romance, isn't? Guilt-ridden with her grief. It is very rare to witness the demons acting on their own and imitating the feelings of human mortals."

"Girls... I may have helped Monica and former Exorcist for final part of training, but this is an important assignment." Carmilla told the girls. "Prepare for difficult task."

Odette and Clara nodded at her together, forming their serious expressions.

(Hazbin Hotel)

Once Stolas arrived via the portal, Morbius and Verosika walked out of it. They noticed the whole crowd of Cannibals gathered around in front of the hotel.

"Cannibals?" Verosika asked. "Why are they here?"

"It is preparation for the Extermination Day, to defend the hotel from the attack." Stolas answered. "Come along now."

Stolas walked calmly, trying to ignore the bloodthirsty attitudes from Cannibals. Morbius and Verosika followed him to the Hazbin Hotel.

"You there! You're that busted demon fella who kicked Asmodeus' dick!" Susan called out for him. "Better show some gratitude to us."

"Um... Thanks?" Morbius questioned with a shrug as Susan nodded her head in response.

Stolas opened the door for them to come inside.

(Hazbin Hotel – Parlor)

Morbius and Verosika then saw the group hammering the wood planks on windows and doors. Surprisingly, her crew and Vortex helped them out and even Devian, Annie, Bombella, Caleb and Scorpio joined while Oden, Eatos, Monica and Calvin were watching.

"What's going on here?" Morbius asked.

"Why's my crew here?" Verosika questioned.

"What is Verosika's ex doing here?" Kat asked, glancing at the imp boss.

Charlie, Vaggie, Niffty, Angel, Husk, Sir Pentious, Monica, Scorpio and Devian dashed towards him.

"Are you two alright?!" Charlie urged.
