Chapter 26 - Succubus Popstar's Broken Heart! Beowulf and Uriel

(Asmodeus' factory – Asmodeus' office)

Asmodeus sat on the chair next to a fireplace, casting his infuriation and concern expression. He still wore his bandages around his neck and his hands.

"What in the hell is this guy? Why's that human showed up at my lounge club and make a terrible mess?!" Asmodeus growled. "And hopefully, Mam is not gonna laugh at me when I'm in this condition."

Varla Guns walked through the door and stood to him. "Sir. You called me?"

"Oh, Varla. Perfect timing." Asmodeus muttered. "This is becoming a very serious dilemma. That Supreme Counsellor of Heaven and Hell has hurt my Fizzy so bad! How dare he wreck my place. He doesn't have reasons at all! All he did was try to protect Fizzarolli's former bestie, then lifelong enemy, Blitzo. Who did he think he was?! A lawyer?!"

"Your Majesty, I really believed this human has gone too far. He isn't supposed to intervene anybody's affairs." Varla said.

"I just never him seen him getting mad and throwing at me. His powers aren't compared to our kinds. What's his name?" Asmodeus demanded.

"It's Morbius. Morbius D. Ashford." Varla replied.

"Morbius, huh? Wait... I do remember that name before... Couldn't be..." Asmodeus said.

(Flashback)

In the V.I.P room of Ozzie's, Asmodeus is seen talking with cloak figure who held his wine glass and tilted slightly.

"Diablo..." Asmodeus began with a smile. "It's been ten years since you completely vanished. It's not like everyone knows why."

The cloak figure whose name Diablo when Asmodeus mentioned his name as the latter drank a bit.

"They won't soon find out why. Don't worry. I just want to make sure everything went smoothly. I gather all my followers to assist me searching Sirius' subordinates' whereabouts." Diablo replied.

"What makes you say that? That self-proclaimed usurper has locked away and his soul binded within sacred seal." Asmodeus told him.

"For every year, Lilith's dream is to assemble the Sinners and empower them with her song. However, this made the Heaven concerned and because of her, the First Man rose to dispatch his army of Exorcists to minimize the greater threats. On the other hand, I checked on the seal and it is slowly breaking. I believe Sirius has grown and got his strength back to break his own prison seal. One day, I feared he will soon free and going after Metatron." Diablo replied.

"So... I guess I believe you. After he took over Hell and superseded Satan, we are hopeless to fight back. Without you, Lucifer, Lilith, Michael, and... The man with a straw hat, we lost everything." Asmodeus said. "Why not to warn to the other Sins?"

"Because I don't want to get them involved in this matter. You are the only one I trust. Even Lucifer and Lilith knew my warning." Diablo replied.

"Whatever you say, Diablo." Asmodeus replied, looking down to see Diablo's right index finger was worn by a platinum ring with golden jewel embedded on it. "You know, you never wore any ring when you are the badass Grand Duke of Hell. Who did you engage to?"

"Nothing matters to you. This is supposed to be a secret." Diablo muttered.

"Come on, when you are wearing the engagement ring, I can tell you are marrying someone." Asmodeus said. "But I won't go talking to anybody, I promise."

"And the child is kept by Christian Lords, they gave him a name. Morbius. In fact, me and my wife are giving a true birth name, Anunnaki." Diablo replied. "Now please, keep the secrets safe from them."
