Y/N felt numb... Something he felt when Jean died, and now he's feeling it again. Rogue rubs her fingers through his hair and he closes his eyes, she can tell he's still in denial about Scott.

Y/N closes his eyes as memories of him and Scott play in his mind, Rogue wipes the tear from his cheek as he leans into her touch seeking comfort and solace in her touch.

Rogue curled her finger around his hair strand as those thoughts creep into his head again. The thought of losing Storm, Rogue and the Professor doesn't sit right with him as a soft knock cuts through his thoughts.

Logan: Let's go, kid.

Y/N hears the urgency in his voice and sits up quickly, much to Rogue's dismay.

Y/N: Coming.

He turns to Rogue with an apologetic tone.

Y/N: I'm sorry, hun.

Rogue cups his face and nods understandingly as he smiles at her.

Rogue: Go. I'll be here when you get back.

Y/N: I'll be back, okay? I promise.

Rogue pulls her hands back and watches him leave. Once the door closes, she is left in her own thoughts. Thinking about the cure again, but she pushes those thoughts away as she sighs.

Y/N, Storm, Logan and the Professor exit the car. Storm and Y/N stand by the Professor as Y/N sees him in the car window.

Charles: Wait for me here.

Those words made Y/N snap his head at the Professor.

Y/N: What? I'm going with you.

The Professor smiles softly at him and pats his arm.

Charles: Stay here with Storm and Logan, my son.

Y/N is hesitant but nods reluctantly.

Charles: I need to see Jean alone.

Logan and Storm look at each other, not liking the idea of him going alone. Y/N spots Magneto and narrows his eyes at him.

Magneto: You were right, Charles. This one is special.

They stop in front of Magneto as Logan questions him.

Logan: What the hell are you doing here?

Magneto looks at him with a smile.

Magneto: The same as the professor. Visiting an old friend.

Charles: I don't want trouble here.

Magneto: Nor do I, Charles. So, shall we go inside?

He glances at Y/N with a smirk, he realizes how much he looks like Anthony and Mystique. Y/N watches them leave as he clenches his fists, this catches Storm's attention and looks up at him with concern.

Charles: I came here to bring Jean home. Don't interfere, Erik.

Magneto: Just like old times, huh?

Charles: She needs help. Jean is not well.

Magneto: Funny. You sound just like her parents.
