Kurt watches Magneto and the X-Men from afar, Rogue crouches next to him and he looks at her.

Rogue: Thank you.

Kurt: Bitte schon.

He smiles at her and continues to watch from afar as Rogue notices.

Rogue: Can you hear what they're saying?

Kurt smiles at her mischievously. Y/N plays with his walkman as he look at Magneto.

Magneto: His name is Colonel William Stryker, and he invaded your mansion for one purpose. He wanted Cerebro. Or enough of it to build one of his own.

Jean: But that doesn't make any sense.

Logan looks at her.

Jean: Stryker would need the professor to operate it.

Magneto: Which, I think, is the only reason my old friend is still alive.

Y/N: Which means...

He gives Storm a knowing look.

Storm: Oh, my God.

Logan notices their reactions.

Logan: What are you all so afraid of?

Magneto: While Cerebro is working, Charles's mind is connected to every living person on the planet.

Y/N continues to play with his walkman and Mystique notices that it looks familiar.

Magneto: If he were forced to concentrate hard enough on a particular group-- let's say mutants, for example-- he could kill us all.

Y/N fidgets with his walkman nervously.

Storm: Wait a minute. How would Stryker even know where to find Cerebro in the first place?

Guilt washes over Magneto as he looks at the fire, Y/N senses his guilt.

Magneto: Because I told him.

Y/N: What?

His nervousness is quickly replaced with anger.

Magneto: I helped Charles build it, remember?

Logan looks at Jean before looking back at Magneto.

Magneto: Mr. Stryker has powerful methods of persuasion...

Y/N pinches the bridge of his nose out of frustration.

Magneto: ...even against a mutant so strong as Charles.

Jean sighs.

Jean: So, who is this Stryker, anyway?

Magneto: He's a military scientist. He's spent his whole life trying to solve the mutant problem. If you want a more intimate perspective, why don't you ask Wolverine?

Jean, Storm, and Y/N look at Logan and he notices their gazes.

Magneto: You don't remember, do you? William Stryker, the only other man I know who can manipulate Adamantium. The metal on your bones? It carries his signature.

Logan tries to remember but fails to do so.

Logan: But the professor...

Magneto: The professor trusted you were smart enough to discover this on your own. He gives you more credit than I do.

Logan looks at him.

Storm: Why do you need us?

Magneto looks at Mystique who was looking at Logan.
