The usual cheerful atmosphere and warmness has been stripped from the institute and the students, Y/N stands by Storm wearing an all black outfit with his mask.

Storm: We live in an age of darkness, a world full of fear, hate and intolerance. But in every age, there are those who fight against it.

Y/N pulls up his hoodie and hangs his head low, Rogue can't see his expression but his body language tells her how much pain he is in.

Storm: Charles Xavier was born into a world divided, a world he tried to heal-- a mission he never saw accomplished.

Y/N thinks about the time he spent with him, seeing him as a father he never had. And now he's gone... a part of his soul is torn.

Storm: It seems the destiny of great men to see their goals unfulfilled.

Logan steps out onto the balcony and Rogue looks up at him, Logan glances at her for a moment before looking at Y/N with sorrow. He sees the young man bright personality and happiness is gone.

Storm: Charles was more than a leader, more than a teacher. He was a friend. When we were afraid, he gave us strength. And when we were alone, he gave us a family.

Y/N lifts up his head and looks at the grave stone with emptiness, he wants to cry, but all he felt was numbness.

Storm: He may be gone, but his teachings... live on through us, his students.

Kitty tears up and Bobby takes her hand into his own, offering her comfort.

Storm: Wherever we may go, we must carry on his vision. And that's a vision of a world united.

She finishes her speech and Logan leaves as everyone stands up. Y/N walks towards the grave stone and places a small flower with Rogue.

Rogue intertwined her hand with Y/N's and squeezes gently, he closes his eyes and lets out a shaky breath.

Later in the evening, Y/N sits on his bed and opens the letter given to him by Storm. He holds his tears back as he continues to read.

I know you probably hate me, and that's okay. I didn't want to leave you. But I had to. I had my reasons of leaving you. I know you think you're a mistake... But you're not. Your mom and I love you.

Y/N pulls out a picture of him, Anthony and the same woman... He wonders who this woman is. Was Jessica not his mother?

He flips the picture and it reads: Raven's and Anthony's bundle of joy. He tosses the picture down out of anger and sadness.

Mystique was his mother? The woman he grew up with and loved was not his real mother? Y/N drops the letter and different emotions swell up in him, he stands up and places his room.

In a fit of rage, Y/N tosses his dresser down and he tosses random stuff around. His mother was right there with him at the dam and he didn't know.

The commotion from Y/N's room catches the students attention and some of them call for help. Y/N falls to his knees and breaks down, all those emotions he held are finally released.

Rogue quickly bursts into the room and let's out a gasp, she sees his room completely destroyed and sees how vulnerable he is.

Rogue carefully steps over the broken glass and other stuff, she crouches and pulls him into hug. Y/N buried his face into her neck and let's out a choked out sob.

Rogue: I got you... I got you.

She runs her fingers through his hair and Storm, Logan pushes through the students and stand in the doorway. Storm breath hitches slightly as Logan steps into the room, Rogue looks up at him and shakes her head.

Logan takes the hint and backs up, Storm tells the students to go back to their rooms and Logan closes the door behind him to give the couple some privacy.

Rogue: I'm here...

She shifts her position to make herself comfortable as Y/N's sobs subsided, his breathing slowly becomes even and steady. He slowly closes his eyes and fell asleep in her arms, Rogue plants a soft kiss on his head.

Back in Harlem, Anthony puts his phone down and sighs softly. He rubs his face and heads down the hallway to his room, he enters his bedroom and sits on the bed.

Mystique murmurs in her sleep as Anthony gently strokes her cheek, his thumb traces her jawline. He leans down and kisses her forehead before laying beside her.

Anthony couldn't believe it, Charles is gone. He knows Raven will be heartbroken just like his son is now. Part of him wants to comfort his son but he knows he has no right to do so.

He lays in there in his own thoughts as Raven cuddles him in her sleep, he stays there for an hour before he eventually succumbs to sleep.
